“🍱🍣 Surprisingly good sushi restaurant in downtown Rockland in midcoast Maine. We’ve been regular diners in Rockland for many years but had never been to Suzuki’s until this week. The selection was excellent, including some original local touches (e.g. local 🦀). Per tradition 🇯🇵 the chefs prepare the sushi at a bar in full view. The atmosphere is casual (like most of downeast Maine) and it’s not too loud. The service was very friendly, accommodating, and attentive. And, of course, the food was delicious. Be sure to call ahead as it’s busy all year round. We got a reservation, and we’re very glad we did, as it was at capacity even on a Saturday in early December, which is not a busy time of year in Rockland, Maine!“
