Our first time at the brewery- Halloween night- we enjoyed a several great beers* and had fun listening to live music while checking out people’s costumes. The place felt comfortable & roomy despite the large number of people. I didn’t eat but the food looked and smelled tasty. Like most Midcoast experiences in Maine, it’s not perfect- but the employees are very nice & working hard, the patrons were friendly, and it was authentic. We’re all lucky to have this place in Rockland.

This location has a great new remodel! There is plenty of room to sit around the bar without feeling congested by people walking behind you. They have other seating areas as well. They have one pool table with lots of room around it to play.
On our visit, we just tried a flight of beers. Each one was not too aggressive and very easy to drink. Even the stout was too harsh as many stouts can taste like dark liquor.
The IPA beers are not very hoppy so that could be a pro or a con depending on your preference. If you love in-your-face, heavy hop aroma with that punch of bitter taste, then you may not like the IPAs. However, if you just want an easy-to-drink, subtle IPA, then this brewery has that for you.
The bartender was super friendly and gave us lots of tips for enjoying our time in the Rockland/Rockport areas.
We definitely can hardly wait to come back next year and see how they have progressed. Cheers!

Monday night blues . They need to advertise it's 20.00$ CASH at the door. I had to leave and get money from the gas station down the road . I ordered a beer and a cold mug . When the bartender poured the beer , he poured it incorrectly, so I got bloated while drinking it. The food is good , the music is great. If I wasn't so hungry and the fact theirs nothing to do on a Monday night ,I would have left once i found out the cover charge . You need to do better on the flyer and put the cover charge on it, and post it on the website. Unfortunately, they didn't have desert yet, but the cook redeemed himself by giving us a Reese's crunchy peanut butter cup found in the fridge..

Took the guys to lunch at considerable risk to my reputation as selector of quality dining experiences. The food was okay - perhaps a bit better than okay. With an engaged waitstaff and timely presentation, this average food might have been a substantially better experience - but it wasn’t that. It was an offense to people who eat and spend money for it. We waited for initial service; we waited for drinks; we were forced to use semaphore to attract our waitress; we waited more than an hour for our food despite several promises that it was up next. My fried chicken sandwich was cold - perhaps reheated from yesterday. Seasoning was nonexistent and the remoulade tasted of straight mayo. The cole slaw had turned several days prior. I’m not fundamentally opposed to surly waitstaff if they are good at it and competent on top of that but she was not. Applebees is probably a better, more consistent experiences. This place clearly survives on the one-and-done tourist trade because no local would eat here.
