Wonderful little place to get fresh or steamed lobster. We got the steamed lobster. The owner was very friendly and chatted with us for a bit. She even gave us a suggestion on where we could go to sit and eat out meal. I highly recommend Rockport Lobster.

Local lobsters right out of rockport harbor prices are reasonable I’ve had lobsters from them 4times this year and the old shell lobsters were full of meat like they should be can’t get any fresher then being caught and brought to the shop the same day

As other reviews have mentioned, we experienced the same rude behavior. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, and she told us she had been working since 7 AM and wasn’t going to stay any longer to serve us LOL. She also expected us to have known to call ahead and place our order before arriving. I can't say anything about the lobster, but based on the service alone, we definitely won’t be coming back.

This isn't a restaurant, but a no-frills, authentic lobster shop where you reserve in advance by choosing the size, type, and number of lobsters you want. They'll even cook them for you, ready for pickup at your chosen time. Our lobsters came packed in a styrofoam box and the result was absolutely incredible. Without question, it's the best lobster we've ever had. There's something special about picking them up right at the source, just steps from where the fisherman brings in the catch. Simple, genuine, and unforgettable.

It was not a cooking day, so I had to find a restaurant that cooks lobsters, still very worth , most competitive prices in all of Maine.

By far the best prices and best lobster in the area. The people who gave this a 1 star review didn't quite understand that this shop is solely run by 1 woman, and she does everything from cooking to selling. If you have patience and understand this isn't hannaford or a local super market, I'm sure you'll be pleased. Rock lobster !

My wife & her family have been buying their live lobsters here for years. Yesterday, we ordered 8 - 1.5 lbs lobsters. They were the freshest lobsters we've ever tasted. Super simple to call ahead and say what you want. They're always ready when you show up.
