“My Mother and I came here last week and had a great experience. The waitress (Alicia) was an absolute delight, one of the best waitresses I have ever met anywhere tbh. She was so sweet and personable. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because a woman in the booth behind us kept yelling at her daughter to behave, to which Alicia was very calm and patient with them as well. She deserves a raise and should be bumped up to a manager! She told me to say in the survey, which I admit did not do, that this is the girl with the multi-colored hair and she’d know who I was so hopefully she and her boss sees this!“
“The crew at Dairy Queen was the best! I asked them about making a Mud Pie Blizzard and they were happy to accommodate me. The only folks to do this since DQ took it off the menu. My local DQ back home essentially tells me to pound sand. My Mud Pie was delicious!“
“I didn't rate the atmosphere because we ordered delivery. The delivery was reasonably quick, especially for a rainy weeknight.I've lived in Saco a few years now, but this was my first time ordering from here. It will not be my last, and will probably become my go-to place from here on out.We ordered two of the regular size pizzas, the European and the Grecian, with some additions to each, along with the green salad. OMG. Absolutely delicious. This was some of the tastiest pizza I've had in years. The salad was so simple, but also excellent - fresh, crisp, perfect. I highly recommend this place! Outstanding flavors and combinations. Yum.“
“We love the chili and it was hot and satisfying the staff were very pleasant and Zach in particular was a great asset to the place polite friendly and making sure our meal was to our liking provided milk when they ran out of cream for coffee ...“
“Ordered a quarter pounder with only pickle tomato and onion no cheese! What I got was cheese on both sides of the burger and I had to take it off and scrape the cheese off the burger and the bun, what a bummer!Parking: Easy to get off the road and space to eat and go!“
“Delicious! Vegetarian friendly, tempeh sandwich and best fish and chips around. But my favorite part was the curved baskets, they made it really easy to cut the fish. Don't forget desert, sea salt vanilla swirled with roasted pineapple was better then most ice cream shops.Kid-friendliness: My daughter loved waving through the window at everyone walking by.“
“Good food, reasonable price minor issue with allergies fixed immediately. This was partially my fault due to type of food ordered. Definitely recommend itDietary restrictions: Allergies are taken seriously and they were able to accommodate“
“Multiple visits to this newer restaurant in an older building in Buxton, Maine the menu is unique with a nice variety of options. When food is as flavorful as it is at Oak & Ember one does not need excessive menu options. Staff is attentive and friendly at every visit!“
“I had the fried clam dinner. It was loaded with so many clams, I couldn't eat them all. I couldn't decide between the puffy batter or the crumb batter, so they did it 1/2 and 1/2. I was grateful now I know I prefer their crumb battered clams. The woman taking my order was helpful and friendly. I'll definitely recommend them and will be going back.“
“Rapid Ray's... In search of the local spot for good food, we stumbled upon Rapid Ray's! I honestly thought that there would be tables and chairs ( don't know why!) but no! Anywho, great vibe, great people behind the counter, good (fast food) menu! As we waited in line, we asked a local lady what her favorite item on the menu was. She fired - the hot dogs (without even thinking). I said, well, when in Maine, one has to try the seafood, so against the local recommendation, we went clam cake and lobster roll ☺️. I wasn't wowed , but the whole establishment, the people, the spirit - made it a great experience! One day I will go back to try the hot dogs!“
