“Sebago Brewing Company in Scarborough, ME for a couple pints & a taster of that Maine deliciousness. Having had a decent amount of Sebago Brewing beer over the years, when I realized they were opened on a Monday & just over a hour away, I made the plan immediately. My 201st brewery I have hit so far, but just one of Sebago Brewing's many locations in Maine that include two spots in Gorham & a spot in Kennebunk as well. I was lucky enough to do a five year vertical at a friend's house earlier this year of Sebago's yearly BARLEYWINE series. It included a SINGLE BATCH SERIES - BARLEYWINE - BOURBON BARREL AGED (2020) & the BARLEYWINE (2021-2024) which were all excellent. While here I also scooped a couple 12oz singles to go of the BARLEYWINE (2025) so I can check out this years as well. Enough about barleywine though, let's get into the three beers I had from the tit at the taproom. 🍻🍻🔥☘

I started off with a full pour of the BONFIRE Rye Beer, it was super tasty & drinkable at 5.7%ABV. I then grabbed a pint of the DOUBLE DRIBBLE DIPA, a good solid New England hazy that brought everything the style is expected of. My last pour was a taster of the STRATISFIED IPA, a really good above average American IPA that was filled with grapefruit. 🍻🍻🔥🎅🏆

Like I said before this is one of four Sebago Brewing spots & it had a ton of seating including tables, hightops, booths & plenty of bar seats. There was plenty of beer to go with a few pounder options of their IPA's & the barleywine singles as well. Sebago Brewing has it's roots that go back to the late 90's & was started by three friends who just wanted to have fun drinking good beer. All the water used in brewing their beer comes from the namesake & is pulled from Sebago Lake directly next to the brewery. Definitely looking forward to eventually seeing the other locations in the future when they cross my path, cheers! 🍻☘🔥✌♥️🍺

“Cowbell Scarborough surpasses expectations every time I visit. The servers are friendly, attentive and polite. The food is 95% of the time correct, and if it’s not correct it is quickly resolved. Accountability is always appreciated and in this restaurant it’s certainly valued by the front of house. If you had a poor experience before, I’d recommend trying again!“

“June 29, 2024 First time visit on Alfred Street, Biddeford Maine 04005. A woman came in and asked the cashier if able to speak to management, the cashier went to the manager standing in the front of the retrieving the sandwiches she called his name, He said " What" in a anger way, the cashier stated a customer wish to him, I am busy not now, as he stood there waiting on sandwich to be made. just standing, not doing anything. The lady left, and the customer waiting for the meals all shaking their heads, as I also. The rudeness, especially to the cashier who spoked kind to him. I received my Whooper, cold bread, and meat, abd returned it. Saw there was another management ( Assistant), asked her if I could speak to her about what I saw, was refused stating the same as the Manager, I have to do the orders first, for me to wait till she has finished the orders. I stated that I just wanted say how rude the Manager was to a woman, she stated "Well" I quess I have to listen to you now. So told her what we saw, and she stated "you done now"? I said I quess I am, I have it recorded. She said good, and turned back to make orders. It's our last visit there, and feel so bad for the workers who have to work for both the Manager and Assistant, if they treat the customers in this manner, can only imagine what the workers have to endure. Terrible Store. Will be posting the videos.“

“The best blizzards in southern Maine are at the Saco DQ, love that they use whole M&M’s in their blizzards instead of being all chopped up. Also they give plenty of treats in the blizzards and aren’t skimpy like other DQ’s I have been to.“

“I would just like to tell a very short story about how my friend Rex who is 65 years old he is a homeless man out of the Portland area. I took him in to Denny's in Portland to get breakfast on a cold Winter's day in January 2022. We ordered our food with our server who was very rude and after eating our cold yucky breakfast my friend Rex was refused a bathroom to use and then the manager came out and told us for NO REASON, to leave and never come back! It was the worst experience because all my friend Rex needed was a hot breakfast he doesn't bother anyone and never sticks up for himself or creates a fuss! So in looking for another breakfast place to eat we found IHOP in Portland and from the start of walking into that restaurant was so nice and clean the hostess was amazing and sat us immediately with a smile our server Bethany she was amazing so nice and kind she took our order and treated us like human beings she was not judgmental and she took our order the same way she takes everyone's orders with a smile and gracious heart! My friend Rex absolutely loves his fried eggs and his bacon so we now visit the Portland IHOP twice a week. I had told the servers about what had happened to us with our experience at Denny's and the server from IHOP told Rex and myself that we were allowed at IHOP anytime and that they would love to have us!! I can't even tell you how much this warms my heart knowing that I can take my friend who has fallen on some hard times into a restaurant to eat a very nice warm meal and have the best servers in the best wait staff around us! You are amazing IHOP and we love you so much! We will be there every Tuesday and Friday for bacon and eggs comforted by the graciousness and smiles of everyone in the restaurant at IHOP! Keep on being the most amazing restaurant in the world because from my point of view you absolutely are! We love you IHOP thank you so much for your hospitality!“
