I would just like to tell a very short story about how my friend Rex who is 65 years old he is a homeless man out of the Portland area. I took him in to Denny's in Portland to get breakfast on a cold Winter's day in January 2022. We ordered our food with our server who was very rude and after eating our cold yucky breakfast my friend Rex was refused a bathroom to use and then the manager came out and told us for NO REASON, to leave and never come back! This place became a favorite Mexican Restaurant. The foods is amazing, service is always awesome, They have an outside dinning area which kind of changes the atmosphere through the year. Always positive changes. You feel very welcome. There house margaritas are perfect for the size taste and cost. My fiance and I became regulars, thats our go to drink. You probably would be sitting next to a regular there.
Alice was wonderful server. We were short on time and she helped tremendously!!

The Big Steak Omlette had an excessive amount of cheese, and the pancakes were overcooked and stuck together. There was also a loud and disruptive employee near the customers, which added to the stress. The payment process was frustrating, as the app used to pay was difficult to navigate.
On another visit, the service was good, and the food options were impressive. However, there were some issues with the server forgetting items, and another employee was shouting personal details loudly, which was obtrusive. The server also presented the customer with someone else's check, causing confusion.
A different group of customers experienced impatient and unfriendly service, which affected their overall experience. The food was good, but prices seemed high, and they didn’t like giving their credit card to waitstaff to pay in a back room.
Recently, one customer enjoyed a watermelon bomb pop drink and praised the breakfast offerings for their indulgence. Another reviewer mentioned that the T-bone steak was very thin and not worth the price, but everything else was amazing and a good value. There was also praise for a waitress named Jessie, who was very friendly and attentive, asking about their stay and answering questions.
