“I've worked with Stephanie on two events in her upstairs dining room -- one for 20 people and one for 32. She and her staff exceeded my expectations both times and were delightful to deal with at every phase. The dining room is private with spectacular views through the glass doors. The deck is perfect for pre-dinner cocktails and the entire experience is high-end. If you need to dazzle a group, Stephanie will make you look good.“
“We sat next to the window overlooking the bay. The drinks were fresh and balanced. Our waitress was very attentive and timely.Half of our group are gluten free and the menu was full of choices for us! Very refreshing... we tried the Crab cake, fried calamari and fisherman's platter. All the fish was fresh, no heavy grease taste and light! I would highly recommend Saltwater Grill.“
“Being new in the area (from Connecticut and before that NYC) we were looking for a good place for breakfast, like the diners we used to go to in CT and NY. Happy to say we just happened to find the "Q" on line and gave it a try. Glad we did, food is really good and portions are generous. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Also, love the old movie and rock star posters on the wall. Just remember to bring cash since they don't take credit cards, however, it's well worth it to make a quick stop at the bank first. It's not exactly like the diners we are used to but it's pretty close and maybe a little better!!“
“My friend and I stopped here for an early dinner before we headed over to see Jerry Seinfeld that night. I have never been here before. My friend has been here before and said that he always had a good meal. Well, good is an understatement. I had the chicken tenders. I never had such juicy and tasty ones! Everything was delicious. I will definitely go back. Our waitress was the best!“
“Our takeout order was ready at the time requested and we got help bringing our large order to the car. Kids and adults had delicious food! My lobster roll was FULL of lobster, and wings were awesome, too. Thank you! We will definitely be coming back again.“
“Every time I go to a new city I try to find a nice place to have a cigar and relax. This place is JUST the spot for that. You can have coffee or liquors depending on what you want with your cigar, and the people are lovely. Wonderful atmosphere and the perfect way to kick off a vacation.“
“The service today was not up to the expectation of this place. I only say this because they were under staffed. The food was good I got the 4 piece fried chicken and Mac and cheese with coleslaw. My wife got the chicken fried steak and potatoes.Parking: Huge parking lot.“
“Popped in to pick up some sliders and a milkshake- ordered online; was quick and easy. The pokemon figures in the 25c toy machine caught my eye, so the amazing team members behind the register came up with 2 dollars change for me... I proceed to win one teeny tiny Nosrpass, and one tiny Camerupt. :D Food was great Shake was EVERYTHING my wife was craving. Thank you to the team at Friendly's in South Portland MEKid-friendliness: Awesome, inclusive, FRIENDLY environment. claw games and change toy machines. staff is always nice in my experience“
“The chicken salad BLT was flavorful and nicely done, the smoked seafood chowder was the real star, it could have been a meal in it's self, the flavors were well balanced it wasn't too think and the snokiness wasn't overpowering. The brussel sprouts were cooked nicely but were lacking in range of flavor, the only thing that came through was smokiness. Wondering if they were actually deep fried :/“
“first time going, and it was a great experience. my mom, sister, and i all went and ordered very different meals. my sister chose a harvest kale salad, my mom had a maple bacon burger, and i chose the aloha açaí bowl. the burger was delicious, with just enough juiciness and spice. the salad had a variety of flavors and vegetables, with just enough vinegar to give it a tangy taste. for my açaí bowl, i can't find the right words to describe how delightful it was. the fruit was incredibly fresh, and the super fruit blend base was perfectly balanced with the wide variety of fruits. i will definitely be returning to this place, as the food is locally sourced and the experience was very satisfying.“
“Day trip to Portland recently, and we decided to try this place. Based on that one trip, we highly recommend it. We ordered one pulled pork sandwich and one smoked chicken platter with sides -- mac'n'cheese, potato salad, cole slaw, french fries, corn bread. Good-sized helpings of the main dishes and sides. Pleased that nothing was over salted but very tasty. Chicken available off the bone (we ordered it) and on the bone, included both light and dark meat (which we liked), moist and tasty, not at all stringy. Ample hot sauce available. For our taste the cole slaw and french fries were very good, "as good as it gets", we'd say. Corn bread is "corn pone" style, not dry crumbly New England style. About $30 including 15% tip, ample food for two meals for us.Very easy to get to whichever way and direction travelers are going past Portland.Parking: Enough.Kid-friendliness: Bright, cheery, spacious.Wheelchair accessibility: Level entry, accessible, clean washrooms“
