“Upon entering the restaurant we found the decor to be warm and inviting. We had a 5:30pm reservation, were sat immediately, and provided a glass milk bottle filled with cold fresh water. We ordered our drinks; two Apple Press’ and Substance on draft. The Apple Press was a well designed cocktail! During our visit we also ordered a mojito and an espresso martini, which were equally wonderful! For dinner we ordered a Rosemary Chicken Pie, Brick Chicken and the House BBQ. The food was levels above anything we’ve had at other restaurants in the area. Everything is homemade and seasoned to perfection with large portions that will more than satisfy your appetite. We ordered a slice of Espresso Cream Cheesecake to go. Throughout our visit, our server Michaela, was attentive and it was clear she cared about making our experience a great one! We will be enjoying many more meals at Yolked Farm to Table. Hint: Make sure you make a reservation if you want to ensure a table. The restaurant filled up quickly while we were there and stayed full.“

“Went here after a terrible experience at the South Portland location. Jared was our waiter and he did a phenomenal job. Service was pleasant and prompt. We got the chicken wonton tacos to start, because they are the best! My husband did the all you can eat shrimp and they were not shy about bringing him more and more. The food was great tasting and plentiful. There was some confusion at the end with some gift cards (all on me 😅 i should have just done them all at once) and he was patient and worked with me. “If you want fantastic service, amazing food and a really cool and comfy atmosphere, this is your place. My boyfriend and I drive twice a year to visit our favorite hotel and restaurant :) we truly cannot express how amazing this team is. We LOVE the lattes and Greek yogurt with homemade granola (it is our absolute favorite breakfast/brunch ever). It was so good that we asked to have the house granola sent to us and the Salt Yard team sent it immediately!

We also recommend the charcuterie board (excellent cheeses) & any of their drinks! They also have trivia on occasion!

“Last month our flight to Portland was delayed a considerable amount of time due to weather issues and it looked as though we would not be able to make our 5p.m. reservation. The hostess, Susie, was very understanding and compassionate And said that even though our table was booked for another party a 7, we should come in and she would see what she could do. We got there late but Susie greeted us warmly and told us not to worry about being rushed that she had arranged things so no one would be inconvenienced. The atmosphere was warm and cozy; the food so very delicious and our waitperson, Anika, was the best. The cowboy burger was delicious, burger cooked just right, the onions and peppers perfectly caramelized, the sauce, bacon, and cheese, exactly the fat you want in a good burger. The bun was perfect and gave the perfect bread to burger/toppings ratio. And the side of onion rings was great, good portion, nice and crispy, not burnt and not soggy. Highly recommend!“

First of all, the vibes inside this cute little café are immaculate. All the staff were warm, inviting (both times we went) and very attentive to provide a great dining experience. But let’s get to the best part, which is truly the food (the Como se dice Bon Giorno sandwich to be specific). The English muffins are made in house, and you can tell the difference! They take their delicious baked staples and curate them for the holiday/season. Is it a little pricier? Sure but nothing unexpected for dining in the Portland area, and the quality most certainly justifies the price. I highly recommend and definitely plan to return on following trips, as this is our new staple for breakfast in the Portland area!“

“Took my step mom here for a belated Christmas gift. We stayed at the restaurants adjoining hotel and were seeing a comedy show across the street at The Merrill Auditorium.

The food and service were amazing. We started with non alcoholic blueberry martinis which were delicious. We ordered off the fixe menu (we ended up picking the same options) which means we received three courses for one price. We also ordered two appetizers under the à la cart section - half a dozen oysters and bread with yummy cinnamon butter. I’ve never had oysters with froth on them before but they were so good!!

We had salads as starters and they were so fresh and colorful and the dressing was to die for. Our mains were scallop risotto. Flavor. Flavor. Flavor. It was a tad spicy but nothing we couldn’t handle, and the scallops were so tender they melted in your mouth. For our final course we ordered the chocolate semifreddo. It was so good that it should be illegal.

Service was great. Friendly, kind, attentive. My stepmom wasn’t sure if she wanted the non alcoholic wine or not so the waiter gave her a small sample to try first.

Atmosphere was beautiful. Modern but cozy. You can dress up or dress down but it is definitely more of an upscale restaurant and experience.

Overall - I highly recommend. Great for a romantic date, special occasion or if you’re just looking for an upscale restaurant with delicious food and great service.“

“Sebago Brewing Company in Scarborough, ME for a couple pints & a taster of that Maine deliciousness. Having had a decent amount of Sebago Brewing beer over the years, when I realized they were opened on a Monday & just over a hour away, I made the plan immediately. My 201st brewery I have hit so far, but just one of Sebago Brewing's many locations in Maine that include two spots in Gorham & a spot in Kennebunk as well. I was lucky enough to do a five year vertical at a friend's house earlier this year of Sebago's yearly BARLEYWINE series. It included a SINGLE BATCH SERIES - BARLEYWINE - BOURBON BARREL AGED (2020) & the BARLEYWINE (2021-2024) which were all excellent. While here I also scooped a couple 12oz singles to go of the BARLEYWINE (2025) so I can check out this years as well. Enough about barleywine though, let's get into the three beers I had from the tit at the taproom. 🍻🍻🔥☘

I started off with a full pour of the BONFIRE Rye Beer, it was super tasty & drinkable at 5.7%ABV. I then grabbed a pint of the DOUBLE DRIBBLE DIPA, a good solid New England hazy that brought everything the style is expected of. My last pour was a taster of the STRATISFIED IPA, a really good above average American IPA that was filled with grapefruit. 🍻🍻🔥🎅🏆

Like I said before this is one of four Sebago Brewing spots & it had a ton of seating including tables, hightops, booths & plenty of bar seats. There was plenty of beer to go with a few pounder options of their IPA's & the barleywine singles as well. Sebago Brewing has it's roots that go back to the late 90's & was started by three friends who just wanted to have fun drinking good beer. All the water used in brewing their beer comes from the namesake & is pulled from Sebago Lake directly next to the brewery. Definitely looking forward to eventually seeing the other locations in the future when they cross my path, cheers! 🍻☘🔥✌♥️🍺
