“Upon entering the restaurant we found the decor to be warm and inviting. We had a 5:30pm reservation, were sat immediately, and provided a glass milk bottle filled with cold fresh water. We ordered our drinks; two Apple Press’ and Substance on draft. The Apple Press was a well designed cocktail! During our visit we also ordered a mojito and an espresso martini, which were equally wonderful! For dinner we ordered a Rosemary Chicken Pie, Brick Chicken and the House BBQ. The food was levels above anything we’ve had at other restaurants in the area. Everything is homemade and seasoned to perfection with large portions that will more than satisfy your appetite. We ordered a slice of Espresso Cream Cheesecake to go. Throughout our visit, our server Michaela, was attentive and it was clear she cared about making our experience a great one! We will be enjoying many more meals at Yolked Farm to Table. Hint: Make sure you make a reservation if you want to ensure a table. The restaurant filled up quickly while we were there and stayed full.“

“Went here after a terrible experience at the South Portland location. Jared was our waiter and he did a phenomenal job. Service was pleasant and prompt. We got the chicken wonton tacos to start, because they are the best! My husband did the all you can eat shrimp and they were not shy about bringing him more and more. The food was great tasting and plentiful. There was some confusion at the end with some gift cards (all on me 😅 i should have just done them all at once) and he was patient and worked with me. This definitely made up for everything 🙌“

“I have been coming to stockhouse windham for over a year, at least one a week if I can. I usually come for wing night (love them here!!) but came for football Sunday (& LOVE the new tvs on the wall!! The whole bar can watch the game, now!) I ordered a chicken bacon wrap with fries on the side, (I forgot to get a substitute when I ordered) and was SO happily surprised. The fries were amazing. Perfectly thin and crispy but not hard, perfectly seasoned - & not underdone at all. I have gotten the fries in the past and have been so disappointed - but these are new and improved. & I cannot forget the staff- I have to say the service is was and always is exceptional from the bartender, Alyssia!! The rest of the employees all had a smile on their faces including the occasional kitchen staff I saw. All very professional and welcoming whenever I come in. “Last month our flight to Portland was delayed a considerable amount of time due to weather issues and it looked as though we would not be able to make our 5p.m. reservation. My daughter called from the tarmac in Boston where we were rerouted and refueled and explained the situation. The hostess, Susie, was very understanding and compassionate And said that even though our table was booked for another party a 7, we should come in and she would see what she could do. We got there late but Susie greeted us warmly and told us not to worry about being rushed that she had arranged things so no one would be inconvenienced. The atmosphere was warm and cozy; the food so very delicious and our waitperson, Anika, was the best. Atmosphere, impeccable service, food and warmth all rate 5 stars and another visit next time we are in Portland.“

“Great service, excellent food. Head on shrimp appetizer was great. The fresh pasta dish was very good. Halibut entree was light fresh and very filling but a tad rich on the sauce. Our server was friendly cheerful and very helpful. Will definitely visit again when able.“

“Had the Super Beef today…. It was super awesome. I’m already looking forward to my next trip there. The buns were nicely toasted, the roast beef was rare, tender, and flavorful. Everything you want in roast beef. The horseradish and barbecue sauces really tied the whole thing together. It was the perfect amount of food but I still would have had another. Also looking forward to going back and trying everything else on the menu, it all sounds fantastic. They also have a full bar, live entertainment, and trivia. “I stopped in Blazes today, had been craving a burger, and they didn’t disappoint! The cowboy burger was delicious, burger cooked just right, the onions and peppers perfectly caramelized, the sauce, bacon, and cheese, exactly the fat you want in a good burger. The bun was perfect and gave the perfect bread to burger/toppings ratio. And the side of onion rings was great, good portion, nice and crispy, not burnt and not soggy. Highly recommend!“

Time between table visits even on a slow night were unacceptable for the price. We still ate here every night because the food is that good and the staff are very nice just mismanaged unfortunately. Meg was incredible, she went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything that we needed and that we had a very smooth celebration on the day of. “If you are looking for really good home style cooking, I recommend visiting Two Mums. Everything they serve is of local ingredients where possible and made right there. Everything I have had from here is delicious. From upside down shepherds pie, meat or veggie lasagna, hot ham and cheese sandwich, pulled pork, 5 cheese Mac and cheese, and home made Maine baked beans to cold sandwiches and salads. “We just had out winter get together with our campground friends Saturday night. We had about 55 people. I met with the owner to make arrangements and make sure it would all work out a few weeks beforehand. Gianna was our waitress and she was amazing!! Top notch in fact!! The food was delicious. The drinks stayed full while we waited for the food. They apologized a few times about the wait as they said the kitchen had gotten backed up but none of us noticed. Great time was had by all!“

“Rarely do I leave a review, but this place is outstanding and definitely deserves the hype! So good we returned for a second time over the course of our long weekend stay. First of all, the vibes inside this cute little café are immaculate. All the staff were warm, inviting (both times we went) and very attentive to provide a great dining experience. But let’s get to the best part, which is truly the food (the Como se dice Bon Giorno sandwich to be specific). The English muffins are made in house, and you can tell the difference! They take their delicious baked staples and curate them for the holiday/season. Is it a little pricier? Sure but nothing unexpected for dining in the Portland area, and the quality most certainly justifies the price. I highly recommend and definitely plan to return on following trips, as this is our new staple for breakfast in the Portland area!“

Our server Eric was awesome from start to finish. My husband ordered the pork schnitzel and absolutely loved it. I had the butternut squash linguine with prosciutto, roasted squash, arugula, and their homemade crostini bread… incredible. I even saved half so I could enjoy it again another day. Hubby tried two of their 5oz beers (Space Ghost and Santa’s Reinbeer) and enjoyed both. But the show-stealer? The apple crisp cheesecake. 🍎 Hubby took one bite and said, “This is so good it should be outlawed.” And honestly, he wasn’t wrong. It was ridiculous in the best way. We left talking about how we’re glad we live two hours away, because we’d be here every day if we didn’t. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area.
