This place was very unassuming and very good. It was the first time in years I couldn't eat all the food on my plate and I tried and tried. I love seafood anyway and while in town, it was recommended to me and I'm glad it was.
Don't be fooled by their homey exterior. They serve excellent seafood. Prices are reasonable and they have relatively clean bathrooms. You order/pay at the counter and pick up your food when the number is called. Service is friendly. The family feast Haddock (29.95) was excellent with the haddock fried in big chunks/nugget sized. I have eaten here several times and the food is fresh and delicious. Their fried clams are so good. As is their haddock, French fries, onion rings, cole slaw and so on. Nice menu. Order at the counter and pick up your tray when your number is called. I wish they had a beer/wine license. It would be good to have a beer with dinner or lunch. Looking forward to my next trip to Skipper's.
