Drove 45min to try for dinner—maybe good for lunch but not dinner. Mostly take out and limited choices. Did not even have cups for bottled water!People rave about the burgers but I’d rather one decent handmade patty rather than two thin patties,

I was finally able to try Ancho Honey after visiting the midcoast 2 years in a row. It's recommended to call in your order early in the day or else they sell out, especially if it's a fried chicken day. They are located about 20 minutes from Rockland and it's worth the drive. The menu is huge and unique. I had the Satay All Day and my husband had the K style pulled pork sandwich. Sandwiches are served with chips. They were both delicious and messy. The space is cool and they sell specialty cooking products such as lard and seasonings. It was great and I'd visit again to try something else.

Stopped by randomly after visiting Marshall Point Lighthouse, and was blown away by quality of the food, the upbeat yet quiet enough to be pleasant ambiance, as well as how friendly and knowledgeable the cashier was about the items on their inventive menu. Got the K style pulled pork sandwich, which was filling, flavorful, and a great value!

The Haddock sandwich is amazing. Fresh fish crispy and served with a few variations. Also have enjoyed the Burgers and the Fried chicken sandwiches. No frills but food done well!

Now on our list of "be sure to return to" restaurants. Excellent sandwiches and value. We didn't have enough time to enjoy the full experience, but will return next time we're in the area.

Place closes at 7pm. We arrive at 6:20 ish and were told they were too slammed and not taking any orders. There were like 4 people outside almost done eating and no one else waiting. This was on a Thursday. We rushed to get over there to eat. We were pretty excited to be eating

I live in the area and have tried Ancho Honey 8-10 times. First, it isn't enjoyable when a person does not welcome you. The woman who takes your order at the register acts like she is doing you a favor. It seems as though she hates being there. I think she is a relative of the owner. This situation has happened every time I have been to the restaurant. I cringe when I go up to order from her. I ordered the brie and blue sandwich the last time I was there. I asked to leave the bacon off since I don't eat red meat. I received my sandwich: three tiny pieces of cheese and blueberry jam. One side of the sandwich had one small part of cheese on it. I wish I had taken a photo; it was unbelievable! I showed the sandwich to the two women at the register. They didn't apologize or offer to give me more cheese! They didn't care! The sandwich was 80% bread. I paid $13.00 for bread, a little cheese, and blueberry jam. They could have added some extra cheese since I didn't get bacon. I will NEVER go to this restaurant again. It is all about them and not about their customers. They have a massive chip on their shoulder!

The 4 of us were out visiting Marshall Point lighthouse today. We randomly chose here to have lunch. A glorious day to eat outside. We had the brisket, tuna melt and the brown bag sammies. Perfection. The wait was a bit long, but it sounds like this can be the usual. Thank you for an interesting menu!

I don't ever write reviews, but this warrants it. Truly excellent, excellent food. We stopped in a bit randomly and were blown away by the quality of the food -- my wife and I agreed the burgers were the best we'd ever had. The sesame chicken salad was excellent and our two kids loved the grilled cheese. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Good spot for kids to dine outside, kid-friendly food and lemonade stand was a bit.

My family and I got there just after opening around 11am. Sadly brisket was already sold out or not made for the day? We each ordered something different, Everything we ordered tasted amazing. Great flavors and good portions. Maybe call ahead and order. Gladly come here again next time.

Fresh, delicious food at a fair price. Love the diversity in food that it has brought to the region.
