We had a great dinner at Happy Clam including 2 lbs of fresh steamers, haddock stuffed w crabmeat and sherry sauce, grilled scallops, and German sides! This place is so unique and the owners are amazing and don’t miss the gift shop for a tee. Not a place to miss on the mid coast!
If you want the best seafood Maine has to offer than this is your place. A perfect mix of seafood and German food in a wonderful atmosphere with the best staff you could imagine and a lovely dining area. The offer many events like Sunday Funday with live bands and great food where else would you go?
What a lovely surprise to find delectable home cooked flavors in the mid-coast region of Maine. It’s a constant disappointment to find gorgeous eateries on the coast that go the lazy crazy route and do Sysco frozen garbage. Why are they serving frozen, superprocessed food? Because a million tourists won’t know the difference. As locals we know better. And from the lobster Mac and cheese with as much lobster as pasta in a cheese sauce that rivals my own!!—to the coffee can...
