We love El Mexicano in Sanford! Been going there for years! Not sure why this photo is of the Waterboro restaurant. Food is delish and drinks are spot on! Try the shrimp quesadillas!

My family loves going here or getting takeout because of the great food and drinks. The various bowls are delicious and you get a lot for the money. I recommend the Barbeque or Pollo as my two favorites, my wife loves the Quesadilla del Hongos. Margaritas are also on point. Can be a little noisy during peak business hours, but otherwise a great place with outdoor seating in warmer weather.

Had an awesome time with my family. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Fajita Skillet and it was great. You could hear them bringing it to the table sizzling away!! Haha
