“Ordered a build-your-own through the app and somehow ended up with a pizza that tasted like it was crafted by a benevolent fire spirit. The red sauce is perfect—right in that sweet spot between too sweet and too acidic, like it knows balance better than most people I’ve met. The crust? Crisp, sturdy, and showing minimal flop, which should honestly be their slogan.

Everything was fresh out of the oven, piping hot, and the toppings tasted like they had actual hopes and dreams. Pepperoni, garlic, jalapeños, mushrooms—each one pulling its weight like a tiny delicious union worker.

Staff was friendly and fast, even with it being a to-go mobile order. No drama, no chaos, just great pizza assembled at warp speed.

“We wandered in today and sat at the bar. We were so impressed with both the service and the food. The bartender was cordial, friendly, and extremely attentive. We had a flatbread that was absolutely delicious and chicken, bacon ranch salad with house made ranch that was exceptional. Closer than any. We don’t have a flatbread company near our home sure wish we did.“

“I haven’t been here in years. I went when they first open up and always passed it but never went in . Why ? I don’t know . I should have . But no more.
Do not search if you want a classic cold cut Banh mi. It is huge here with tons of meat. You will that that no where. Definitely come here.
I’m always about quality and here going on to eat with this kind of quality and prices you cannot ask for a better place. Trust me!
Their Banh mi was delicious. I would have liked it warmed in the toaster oven a bit more but listen I’ll take it as is.
My won ton soup had tons of fresh veggies and soup was flavorful. All for $10 a bowl. Not bad at all . The won tons had chestnut in them and for those who like the chestnut crunch you are all set here , my guys and gals.

“While staying at a nearby hotel, we ordered Portland Pie Co for pickup. It was ready within 20 minutes on a Friday night, which was great! The building and interior was very modern, and it smelled amazing inside!

We ordered to the chicken nachos and chicken broccoli alfredo for dinner, and loved both meals. You could taste the ingredients were fresh and made to order. “We stayed at the Westin Hotel in Portland, ME. The pizza was amazing and the service was great! It was cooked perfectly and had a nice crunch to it! No fork/knife needed.“

“If you know, you know. Amato's is one of the quintessential sandwich shops in Maine, and as a born-and-raised local, there really is nothing like it, as they proport in their slogan. When living out of state, every time I came home to visit, my first stop was for a Real Italian, a Moxie, and Humpty Dumpty All Dressed chips.

I've had a generic review here for years, but I needed to update it after this weekend. It was a busy Friday, I was on my way home from work and picking up an order my wife had placed for the whole family. I didn't have the order details, and so some of this was certainly my oversight, but when I arrived home, a sandwich was missing, and another was generously lacking in vegetables, though I would only learn this last bit on the drive back to the store.

Upon explaining the situation, no less than three staff members jumped to fix the situation, finding the lost sandwich, remaking the other, and additionally providing me with a quart-sized soup/salad container of freshly sliced veggies, just to make sure that we had all we needed. The customer service was - in a word - exceptional. I had even proclaimed that this was not enough to sour me as a customer, and they still insisted on going above and beyond.

“First off, I love AMATOS. Been coming here since I was a kid. I order from here once and awhile and for the first time ever I received the wrong item. I got a Pazzo bread with olives and pepperoni. ( I ordered it plain.) So I called the store and talked to the manager and he told me to come on by back and I can get a new one. 10 minutes later I show up and he's got a new Pazzo bread all ready cooked up for me. Honestly that was awesome customer support. I think the managers name was Rob? Anyway he was really nice and made my day. If corporate sees this please give him a raise 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻“

He was so friendly and told me I could choose a cookie, because I had a reward. Then he offered one to my husband which was so kind of him. “What a great choice while looking for healthy eating options while traveling on the road.
Wonderful salad with the beef option was the perfect combination of flavors.
Could really taste the charred taste on the beef patty which was good. I finished the salad the next day. Which was still tasty.
