The setting at The Chart Room is hard to beat — the ocean view is beautiful, and the service staff were excellent: friendly, attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite match the setting. The French Onion Soup came topped with deliciously melted cheese, but the broth itself was bland and lacked the depth you'd expect. The Black Point Burger was cooked perfectly and had great flavor, easily one of the highlights of the meal. The fresh local oysters...
Very beautiful setting indoors and out. Food was pretty good but I probably wouldn't go back. It was not overly busy but service was not good at all. The waitress very distracted, errors made with drink and food order. Just an odd experience overall.
This is the second year we dined at Black Point for our anniversary. Open Table asks if it is a special occasion. Yes, I wrote it was our anniversary. However, Black Point didn't know that either time. So, apparently Open Table doesn't tell them. Disappointing! We walk in to a disappointment initially. Why aren't we greeted with “Happy Anniversary”? Also, the food...new menu...is too combined. That is, everything on the plate is delicious ( except for the rubbery...
