“This is by FAR the BEST small takeout in the area and I’ll tell you why. The food is AMAZING-no not just average amazing… the food is cooked by a guy whose actual chef. Actually puts FLAVOR & attention & expectations into his food. The staff there are made up of a lot of the family members (family own) and they are some of the nicest, friendliest, polite people I’ve met and they go above all the expectations I had of a takeout and I’m just so grateful we have them to bless the town with their fantastic restaurant 👏👏”

We ordered pizza, oysters, a clam dish and pate. The drinks were wonderful as well. The Aragosta was on my bucket-list and it did not fail my expectations!”

“I cannot say enough about this friendly restaurant that has been a business for 25 years and continues to offer out outstanding, affordable food. This is a small town with not a lot of dining options. There’s a fancy place up the street and a kind of an in between place further down the street but this is where local people come to eat. No pretension. Just really good food. And a friendly serving staff. We had the special tonight, which was their bourbon beef tips, pulled pork and incredibly favorful mashed potatoes. Food was so good. The drinks were generous and top notch. The strawberry shortcake, and I’m not kidding about this might be the best strawberry shortcake I have ever tasted. if you’re in this area, you owe it yourself to stop. Friendly place. Delicious food. You won’t be disappointed”

I made Cullen Skink for a Robert Burns Supper earlier this year, and it was such a hit I'm making it again for our annual Beach Week.Stonington's Finnan Haddie is a flavor bomb! My friends thought I spent hours in the kitchen, but the chowder comes together quickly. Richard did all the hard work.”

“Good pizza with the normal toppings... thin enough to fold, but not quite as thin as NY pizza (IYKYK). Their home-made chicken tenders with fries are a family favorite. The baklava is the real deal. Only order to go, but the staff are always friendly and curtious even when they're swamped.”
