“We just happened to find this place after renting kayaks for the afternoon. The staff are incredibly nice and the food is amazing. Sadly, it is about an hour away from where I live, but I would gladly drive it to get this delicious food. Try it out, you will not be disappointed.”

“Don’t miss this gem! Clam chowder is very tasty. Broth is excellent and potatoes maintain their structure and are not mushy. Lobster roll has a lot of high quality lobster though is on the small side. Onion rings are so crispy! Perfect! Haddock is high quality and delicious. Batter is light and flavorful. Again, cooked perfectly. Then of course we had ice cream. Single scoop is very generous. Best I have ever had.”

Pizza and wings are a staple and their extensive menu shows off many other outstanding dishes. Have been there dozens of times over the past several years and the service is friendly and terrific. While not a beer drinker, my friends rave about their in-house brews. Have never made it to dessert, but I'm told they are excellent! The attached Willy's Market showcases their sausages, meats, and sandwiches along with homemade salads and a Maine Agency Liquor Store.”

“Most pizza joints in Sanford only give you a few pieces of veggies or a minimum of meat. At HR you get what you ask for. Want onions or peppers, you can actually see them. Not like Dominos or Pizza Hut. Talk about a House Special, nobody in Sanford can come close. The large loaded must weigh close to 5lbs. Their hot sandwich s are truly the best”

“My son's and I had an amazing experience visiting this nice Country setting with delicious ice cream and don't forget to say hi to Pedro the Donkey or Rudy the dog among other awesome farm animals there. My son's told me this place was so good we have to go back tomorrow”

“Great local spot I stop at frequently out on the bike but all are welcome. You will be pleasantly surprised at the food quality as you might expect generic pub fare but their quality is very good. I had the fried clams today and they were great, large portion, very fresh whole belly clams. Have also had their tenders and pizza and those too were great. Pull in have some food and drink and enjoy this great spot.”

“Had a impromptu dinner date with my 9 yr old Lil one tonight. Cassie was our server and was excellent. She greeted us, got our drinks. Lemonade for the wee one and for me a Espresso Martini (which was excellent). We had some Bruschetta to start and the little one tried and liked it. She told us about the specials of the night, then we ordered our meal. Chicken tenders for him ( I swear he is gonna turn into a chicken tender someday, lol) and Steak tips, Mashed, green beans for me. Everything was excellent. Dessert was a scoop of Black Raspberry for him and Creme brulee for me, both delicious. I had a long week of work and this experience hit the spot. Friendly people nice atmosphere and nice music. I will be back sometime soon. I hope the next experience will be just as good.”
