I can’t say enough good things about this place! The food is consistently amazing fresh, flavorful, and made just right every time. We have attempted to go to the Snack Shack three times in the past few months. The first time it was closed unexpectedly. The second time we were able to go and the food was fine. The third time we went we were told as we walked in that the place was closed. However, I had looked at the hours on this Facebook page and it said they were open for another hour. Given the unreliable hours our family has experienced, I cannot recommend the Snack Shack.

Snack Shack Restaurant & Bar in Skowhegan is a gem. The food is consistently amazing fresh, flavorful, and made just right every time. The fish sandwich is the freshest ever, and the special chicken and waffles are really good, crispy and fresh. The best tots around are also available. The service and cleanliness are superb, with staff that is always friendly, attentive, and makes guests feel genuinely welcome. The customer service really sets it apart. There is a great variety on the menu, so everyone can find something they love. It is a family-friendly spot with games for kids and adults, live music, and outside seating. Whether dining with family or friends, the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. This place is perfect for passing through or a local visit.
