CVC Catering group catered our daughter's wedding in Maine this September and from day one Nancy Cerny made us feel relaxed and confident that all would go well. And it did! The food was outstanding, as was the service. Nancy and her team did not disappoint! She worked with our wedding venue to make sure that all of the details were taken care of. And they were! It was a pleasure meeting and working with Nancy and her team. Five stars are not enough, they deserve Ten!

We chose CVC catering because they were prompt in their responses, pleasant, accommodating and were willing to work within our budget to find the right meals for our wedding. They were fabulous leading up to the day of/day before our wedding. It wasn't until the day before when we were setting up and had some questions that we reached out to Nancy and found out she wouldn't be there as planned (not sure we would have known this had we not reached out). She assured us that if she couldn't be there somebody who is very capable would be. One of the reasons I had chosen CVC catering was because they had catered at the Hardy Farm before and were familiar with setup, cleanup etc. It was clear when they arrived that they were not sure where to go or what to do. My family had to instruct them how to turn on the ovens that they requested we rent, we had no water and they pulled our bar tenders away from the bar at peak time to clean up the tent. The morning after the wedding we received a message from the rental company that we would be charged because the dishes were not cleaned, which had been included in the contract. The redeeming factors are that the food was decent for 100 people and Nancy was great to work with. Although I understand some things are unpredictable, had she been there the day of the wedding, it may have changed the way things were run.

We were very happy with the bar service CVC provided at A BARN this past weekend. They were pleasant to work with and professional. We will be adding them to our suggested vendor list.

We were very happy with CVC Catering for our recent staff luncheon. Nancy was easy to work with and provided good ideas. Delivery and set up were on-time and professional, and the food was enjoyed by all. There was plenty to eat, and the left overs were enough to feed us all again the next day! Everything was as promised and at a reasonable price. We would definitely use CVC again for another event.

We could not have been happier with Chuck and Nancy and the amazing team they have! They catered our wedding a year ago this past April (sorry for the delay guys) We came in presenting them with a wish list, Nancy worked with us to design an affordable feast for 100 guests, Of course we had to cut a few items from our wish list, but that is to be expected. She even helped us design signature cocktails for our wedding, and on the day of our wedding handled us like royalty. In fact they had an issue with seagulls during setup that we would not even have known about if we didn't chat with the bartender extensively while paying our tab at the end of the night. We loved them so much we recommended them to our friends who also used them with great results. Thanks Chuck & Nancy!
Whenever I use CVC Catering I can rest assured everything will be taken care - they are a soup to nuts caterer and they never disappoint. I've been using them for a dozen years at 2 different organizations for small events to feeding 500+, from BBQs to holiday dinners and I've never had an issue. I know when Nancy and Chuck have the event, I can breath easy knowing they will take good care of us.

What a HUGE disappointment their service was... CVC came highly recommended and we went in for a tasting, which was extremely impressive. I wish I had pictures of the food we were served because it was incredible; however the food served at my wedding reception did not even come close. It was like we were presented 5 star quality then we were actually served grocery store deli food that we could have made ourselves. The portions were small and they ran out of some items. I had to eat about 5 dinner rolls because I was still hungry... Even worse than the low quality food was the fact that the owner herself made SO many promises she didn't keep. She was supposed to run the show from decorating to the timeline of the night, but she did NOT show up. Therefore, more than half of my decorations were not hung, we missed our toasts because her staff had no idea what was going on, the DJ was supposed the receive cues from her but in her absence played our song when we weren't even ready for our first dance... Such a bummer since it was the greatest expense of our wedding and the worst quality and service. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

Nancy helped us organize all the rentals (e.g., tables, chairs, place settings), which took a lot of pressure off of us! She even met us at the rental place to go over everything together! She did everything we asked for, including serving champagne at the train (we rented the Narrow Gauge Train for our guests). Overall great experience!
