This restaurant is bright and clean, with attractive decor and friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the gyoza, steamed buns with duck, tempura shrimp and the Kume sushi roll. Will definitely return when we’re in the area!

The food is good here, sushi is fresh and well presented. The space has been remodeled and looks good, but advise not to sit in back near kitchen.. this is where they dump dirty dishes into bus carts with little regard for the jaring noise it creates..service is uneven, our food was late and we got zero updates as we waited..id go again, but avoid busy times and avoid the back section!

Kume is a beautiful, clean restaurant with amazing food and kind, attentive staff! Everything is well priced + served in large portions - overall my go-to sushi spot. Interior is atmospheric (warmly lit, comfortable, etc). Every time I’ve gone I’ve been served very quickly, and made pleasant small talk with the servers, who have all been very very nice!! Highly recommend Kume if you’re in the SoPo area.

Love love lovee kume!! my favorites are the pork dumplings and thai iced tea :D the staff are always kind and the overall atmosphere is so cozy, definitely recommend kume!
Came in with a few friends and we were immediately greeted with a smile by the hostess! Food was great, i had the pad thai and it was delicious. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, we will be coming back!

I remember coming to this place earlier this year, sometime around February for my birthday. The server treated us like we were a bother and rolled his eyes EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. we asked for something. He didn’t even get the right drinks me and my cousin had asked for. Not to mention the food was less than subpar and tasted off. After discovering how this restaurant treats their employees (one of them left a review, check it out), I am nothing but disappointed. Don’t go here and waste your money on poor food and EXTREMELY poor service.
