I just had to write a review because some of the reviews are irritating and mainly written by people who think they are NY times food writers (LOL). First off, the staff are friendly, sweet, and pretty attentive. I got the turkey panini and it was fantastic! I also got their punition cookies and it's so yummy and goes well with coffee or tea:) Their signature dessert is definitely the blueberry pie (or anything blueberry) and even the hand pies are delicious! This such a hidden gem on the island and great place to stop by for a quick lunch or snack!

This little place was a highlight of our trip to Maine! It was one of the best sandwiches I have had in a long time and such a charming place to visit. I highly recommend grabbing a sandwich or treat to go here!

We stopped here for a sweet treat after a long day at Acadia. Oh my goodness, the blueberry tart was so delicious! There was some wonderful outdoor seating where we were able to enjoy our dessert. They had many other delicious looking sweets/baked goods we were tempted to try. I’d highly recommend this spot!

Update: we came back a few days later for the pizza. So yummy!!!

Yes, this is a great bakery with good sandwiches to take out on a trail, but their real strong suit comes in the form of pizzas. I’ve lived in New York City, the home of great American pizza for 18 years, and there are three pizza experiences that I’ll remember forever. Gramaldi’s after walking across the Brooklyn Bridge in February, an incredible margarita at a sea side ristorante in Naples, and take out from Little Notch after a rainy summer hike. We were practically crying from disbelief. Now I’m sure the rainy hike triggered something in the reward center of my brain, but holy crap was it perfect. I look forward to coming back again and again. (But check their hours. They can be a bit unpredictable.)

Excellent pizza and blue berry pie.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this cafe. There was hair in my food, which is completely unacceptable and unhygienic. The staff were rude, inattentive, and seemed annoyed to be helping customers.

This place is odd. Prices are not posted, and staff seemed bothered by having to help customers. Baked goods were okay, nothing special. Very limited offerings, no bread.

Great quality and service. We got the #6 and the toppings were delicious and generous.

I wanted pizza real bad and googled this place and read the reviews. Ordered a large pizza. It looked and smelled amazing, sadly I was completely dissatisfied with the taste and I love pizza.

We ordered a large order online. Stopped in to pick it up and the bakery is adorable. Parking was easy around the corner. The food is delicious! The alfredo chicken sandwich is amazing!

Went for coffee, left with coffee, cookies, drinks, snacks, and two flank steak sandwiches. Amazing food! All of their grocery items seem hand picked. A hidden gem as we were passing through the town. And their bread is freshly baked!!

Wish there were more places to sit - but this is mostly take out with a few tables on the sidewalk. Pizza is great - NY style pizza with great sauce and crust. Very tasty. Plus a nice selection of pastries.
