This place is so clearly a labor of love. Our fantastic server was kind and thoughtful and really made it feel like we were regulars. Rogue Maine Food is a cozy, owner-operated restaurant that offers a variety of starters, mains, and desserts. The menu features options such as Pork belly, Peekytoe crab cake, Gnocchi with foraged mushrooms, and pan-fried Haddock. Diners often praise the panko crusted haddock and the pork chop with plum sauce. The restaurant serves a delicious mushroom bisque and outstanding chocolate dessert. Guests can find a great selection of wines and enjoy excellent, attentive service. The owner-chef frequently greets customers, adding to the homely atmosphere. The restaurant has a limited seating capacity and is often busy, so it is recommended to arrive early. With only one chef and a small staff, diners may experience a little wait, but they are treated to delicious bread while they wait. The food is made with local ingredients and shows a dedication to quality that stands out, making it a true gem for those who appreciate thoughtful dining.
