About the food, the appetizers were fine, the main dishes were a hit or miss, fish was dry—how does one over cook halibut. The steak and frites—the meat seemed to have been made in the same place as some fish. The orange chicken meatballs also had a fishy flavor. The lemonade was not home made and had an artificial flavor… desserts were the best. But at this price point we wouldn’t not come again.
From the jump, this place was amazing. I love a restaurant that does not rush you, and there was no rush at all. We ended up being there for over 2.5 hours, with no concerns anywhere to be seen or felt. I had a well made dirty martini, the Korean pork belly appitizer, the steak frites (a perfect medium rare), and the donut for dessert and everything was awesome. My wife had a lobster appitizer, the short ribs, and the lemon cake dessert. She had a drink called the painkiller...
The positives the meals are very good portions and the flavors are good. My meal was cooked well.
The price point for the meals is WILD. A $17.00 appetizer that consisted of one medium zucchini with a sprinkle of feta and sprinkle of pistachios is way over priced.
