Sat at the bar, with my honey. Radio said snow on the way. Arrived early, for us, 5:30. Monday. Not a full house. Sat at the bar. Bartender, Kathy, was one of the best ever encountered at this sort of venue. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and kind. We were a bit disappointed by the lack of dark beer of any sort, but she suggested a couple of favorable brews which were interesting. Blue Moon the best. Menu is great, prices in range. Food was tasty, portions good. My side order of broccoli was not hot and cooled rapidly, but not over cooked, so that's a plus. We were pleased, again. Kathy is a gem.

I understand that Applebee’s has developed a reputation of being trashy food akin to a low tier bar, but when we sat down we had hoped that perhaps people were exaggerating online.
The entire time we were there I would say that the volume was pretty low, only about a quarter of the tables were full. We waited over half an hour for our dishes; a chicken tenders platter, the cilantro lime chicken, and ribs. When the food finally DID arrive, it was a mess. Any alterations were completely ignored. The fries were cold, the poor excuse for chicken tenders were room temperature and would have fit in perfectly as overly dry “chicken fries” from a Burger King.
Our waiter seemed to grow increasingly upset as both our table and tables around us asked for our meals to be corrected, causing him to keep forgetting things. What should have been frustration with the kitchen for all of the mistakes made instead turned to frustration with guests.
Ultimately I’d imagine that with a gallon of water to wash down the dry food might have served well for someone’s dog, but ultimately this was such a disappointing experience that proved that people online are right; Applebees is hardly fit to call itself a restaurant. People considering eating here, save your mouth and your wallet and eat anywhere else, even a gas station would beat this place.

Food is so lame and overpriced. Some staff were slow and not quick to even bring appetizers… finished drinks and had grumpy baby before food came. When food did some it was only husbands and baby’s… offered me luke warm French fries while I wait 20 minutes for my mediocre but hot sandwich is which is more than I can say for the fries… gone downhill quickly… used to enjoy eating here..

This Applebees needs to get new employees who are clean and competent, and not under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. I knew immediately this was going to be a bad experience when I asked for a booth and she said they only had tables available and literally there was only 3 tables/ booths total taken in the entire dining room. The waitress we had was definitely under the influence of something. It took a long time for her to initially come to our table. When we ordered, she supposedly wrote down our order then proceeded to not even remember what any of us ordered so we had to step by step go over our order multiple times. Atleast 10 minutes went by after that with no drinks, she comes back to our table asking what we ordered for drinks as she lost the slip. So I bet she never put our food order in.l either. Another atleast 10 minutes went by, still no drinks. We got up and just walked out. What an embarrassment.

We haven’t been to an Applebees in years. It was within walking distance to the hotel we were staying overnight at & decided to try it again. We were seated quickly & our waitress was friendly. We decided n salads. Mine was a bit too spicy but hubby loved his with the shrimp on it. It was an ok visit.

The bar tender was excellent. My food wasn't. Waited a long time and when my food came out it was cold fries were kind of warm. Would have preferred a warm sandwich instead.

The service here was quite good with people that were friendly and helpful! We tried the mozzarella sticks which were terrible and we didn't finish them but my chicken and sausage pasta with ziti dish was very good.
