Dorman's Dairy Dream Inc

My family and I stopped here on our way through the Northeast. Dorman's is an amazing little ice cream shop. The prices were reasonable and the serving sizes were generous. They really pack the pint containers full. The flavor was amazing and the texture was excellent. If you're in the area, stop by Dorman's and give it a try.

Kids liked their ice cream - however they were out of soft serve and they charged a lot for a tiny milk shake that was supposed to be thick but was not thick at all.

The soft-serve is one of the best we have ever had. I have yet to try their home-made hard serve ice cream, but the customers waiting in line swear by it.

This ice cream hut in Thomaston, just outside of Rockland makes their own hard serve. They have a nice selection of flavors and the portions are huge.

I loved my milkshake made with the soft serve. Just the right flavor and consistency. The milkshake made with their scooped ice cream was thicker, but I preferred my soft serve version.

I think the scooped ice cream is fine. It is a bit thicker than I like. I particularly recommend the caramel one, however. I would skip the vanilla.

Good ice cream place on the side of route 1. Not the best ice cream in the area (checkout Camden). My wife still enjoyed a sundae. Next to a Hampton inn and Walmart, which I enjoyed.
