Waitress ignored 4 requests for napkins. Never introduced herself or welcomed us. She was annoyed when we asked the table be wiped down and the pulled a dirty rag from under the soda machine. We all thanked her for finally bringing the napkins and again when she brought our waters. She didn’t respond to us either time and purposely wouldn’t even look at us. She clearly had an attitude problem and ironically there was a tip bucket nearby. Almost got up and left after we placed the order but for some reason decided to stay and continue to be treated rudely

I love the seafood, they are very prompt and the clams and lobster i order almost daily, Delicious, i always call a few minutes early to order before they are open, and they always answer. Most places don't. I own a business and Doug knows how to run a business that keeps you coming back

I tried to get into Rockland Cafe after coming off the ferry the other day. Once again, they were closed, although internet said they were open. So I continued south, and as I entered Thomaston, I remembered there was a new seafood place on the L. It is WONDERFUL! I had lobster stew, onion rings. Both were fantastic. I kept watching these beautiful platters of food go by - including desserts and the "fanciest" chocolate milkshake I've ever seen. Some day -

We were visiting from New Mexico and had it on good authority to try the fish chowder at Doug's in Thomaston, the recommendation did NOT disappoint! Thick creamy chowders, tasty crab cakes, beer, wine, desserts- this place has it all! Definitely stop here if you are anywhere nearby - it will be worth the trip!

Lobster roll was good. Service, not so much. I was waiting to be seated for several minutes even though there were open tables. Two gentlemen arrived after me and as soon as they walked in the door were asked if they were dining in. Which they kindly let the server know I was there first. I gave them another opportunity but after taking my order they continued to not take care of me yet were constantly checking in with the customers on both sides of me. Never had a felt discriminated in my life until the day I ate at this location. Definitely do not recommend.

I say this because one person wasn't happy with their meal? I don't know if it was the price, the amount (or lack of) of food or both. I will say, in our travels the past year or so, you DO NOT get as much of food for your money as you'd like any place, times have changed. Ok as for the food here, my wife LOVED the crab cakes, hell she said they might be some of the best she has ever had. We will be going back soon to take her mom. I had fish and chips and was very please with my dish as well

Good, fresh seafood. Dining in presents a cafeteria like environment, hard benches, bright florescent lights, soda refrigerators greeting you at the entrance. This was a huge disappointment given the building was erected specifically for the restaurant and was an expensive structure. Not a daily lunch spot given the price structure. $$$

Ordered a seafood platter to go. Got home with 2 fried clams, 3 scallops, 2 pieces of cod and a mountain of french fries. What a buy for $34.00! Went to visit the manager the next day to ask what happened and was told that he was not available. Asked the person behind the counter for a credit or something else and got a blank stare. Not going back.

Stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday, got a bowl of clam chowder and the lobster roll. Both were excellent! Chowder was full of clams and the lobster roll had plenty of meat. Extremely reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend.

A small very casual local favorite and we now see why. Fresh seafood on the menu and a good beer listing. Very friendly staff that pay attention to detail. We will definitely visit again while vacationing inMaine this week.

What a great find just a little inland. Thomaston is a great spot to visit anyway but to find a small but efficient and really tasty seafood restaurant is the cherry on top.Whole body clams were just right. Lightly battered and done just right. Fish chowder had lots of fresh and tasty fish. An order of onion rings, homemade, light batter, non greasy and lots of flavor. Haddock sandwich shared was excellent to the two natives that split it. Cozy place. Clean and bright. Nothing fancy but a real delight. Good cold Beer and wine ( that could be improved upon). Reasonable prices. Server doing 3 jobs but took care of the 5 of us. A definite to go back to place. Absolutely! If you don’t go, you’ll miss out.

We were visiting Maine, and my husband had been waiting to get a lobster roll. We went to Doug's for dinner and it did not disappoint! My husband is still talking about the hot lobster roll days later!

The best flavor and value for the dollar venue of our 4 day trip to the Camden area. The best clam chowder of 3 places we tried. Best clap strips of 3 places, fries were awesome, and the lobster roll was to die for. Can't recommend highly enough. Yum!!!

We ate from here twice on our trip - once for takeout and the other for dine in. Both times we had excellent experiences. The service was good and friendly and the food was delicious. It's also well-priced. We ordered almost exactly the same thing at Archer's in Rockland earlier in the week and it cost almost double. We've tried to do carry out at several other places and it's was not offered so we appreciate that doug's will did that for us. We also are a bit difficult because of food allergies but they were willing to double check ingredients and make some modifications for us. Thank you!
