💬 My Experience:
We stopped by Firehouse Subs for a quick lunch while on the road. As always, their subs are top-notch. My son ordered the Caribbean Jerk Turkey on garlic bread, which was a great touch, and I had The Engineer, both sandwiches were flavorful and satisfying.

That said, I was a bit surprised at the total, over $30 for two sandwich meals. I don’t eat fast food often, so the price point caught me off guard. It felt more like sit-down restaurant pricing, though the quality was definitely solid.

One thing I wish restaurants would do differently is provide more transparency when asking customers to round up for a charity or donate at the point of sale. It’s not always clear what the cause is or where the money goes, and the added tip prompt for fast food service can also feel a bit misplaced.

Two for two terrible visits, so that's enough to give up. First time we visited there was a younger looking girl working behind the counter and an older woman cleaning up the shelves on the customer side of the counter. They looked at us when we came in but never responded to our greeting and never went to the register. The only person to say anything to us was a guy that was cleaning the drink machine on the other side of the store. He came over and took our order, then the two ladies made our sandwiches while looking all sorts of miserable. We filled out a survey about it.
Against my better judgement, I went back a few weeks later and placed an online order for myself. The sandwich was a disaster and literally half of my requested ingredients were missing.
Sometimes you can pretend the customer service doesn't matter as long as the quality of what you're getting is great. This is not that scenario. It's expensive for what you get, or don't get really.

Great service from staff. Food is always great.

Utterly dissatisfied in the $30 meal, which included two medium subs, chips and soft drink. The sandwich (ny steamer) had barely any meat and was barely flavorful. I expressed my review with a worker and their recommendation was to pay for the large sub since it had twice the meat. When establishments begin to ration key ingredients, I consider my patronage to have ended. There are far better options at this price point.
