This JM's location has a genuinely helpful staff and tho' turnaround speed can vary with order type and time of day, a typical wait here compares well with other stores. Also worth noting that on my recent visits I found everything was clean, including the bathroom and the always problematic self-serve beverage station.
Of course, I'm compelled to point out that JM's products aren't truly representative of the real New Jersey / Philadelphia 'hoagie' experience. But — for the price — JM's food is an acceptable substitute. Everything I've tried is better than other (usually regional) 'Genuine Philly' shops and, importantly, it's very consistent between locations.
As to JM's concept, just two annoyances worth mentioning: (a) Compared to classic 'Italian sub rolls' in NJ /PA, JM's bread is a letdown; (b) I think JM's ordering process and std. back-counter area suffer from an odd configuration. Maybe they're designed for maximum efficiency in training, but they sure seem oddly clumsy in workflow.

Just stopped at Topsham Jersey Mike’s Service was horrible due to one guy who is incompetent at his job. His body language says he doesn’t want to be there. Long line. People walked out when they saw the line. This guy should go!

First time at a Jersey Mike’s: Legit! Not a lot of vegetable and topping options but a seriously impressive Italian sub. Clean and professional atmosphere and service as well.

This was bad. Floors were filthy with old food all over the floor on the cooking line and the staff obviously overwhelmed with orders. It took 35 minutes to get a simple sandwich... A no go if I'm back in the area
