Food is very good. Service as well. Quick and easy
Amazing food at amazing prices! Lots of the items are fresh made from local ingredients. Super clean and incredibly friendly staff too. A refreshing break from the tourist traps! Highly highly recommend.

Very friendly and decent selection. The kids love it! Fairly priced for being in this area.
I've been to over 30 RV parks in the past 2 1/2 years. This is in my bottom 5. The only good thing is the location. It's tight and crowded and very loud. Party atmosphere. I got parked in a space where my view was a rusty water tower and the maintenance shed. The bathrooms were almost unusable. I threw away my flipflops after trying it. It's just not a pleasant place to be and was a huge disappointment. The staff was pretty friendly but other than the location, that is the positive thing I can say. I really don't like giving negative reviews but it's only fair to people coming in.
We stayed here in our RV as part of thousand trails. The park was clean and the staff friendly. On-site laundry was convenient. Most of the sites are in total sun. Since was 4th July weekend they had some activities good for the whole family like bingo. Very convenient location to Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Stayed for a week. Sites are of average spacing except for the middle section which can accommodate a longer length if space is needed for a 45ft RV and a tow trailer. No disconnect needed. All sites are gravel but roads are paved. Very little shade if any but weather was decent during our stay. Rained one day and saw a few sites that had ponding of water, not something I would be happy with. We did see them trying to level and re-gravel a site so hats off to the workers. Our site was fine. No dog park but plenty of grass for them to do their business. Pool looked refreshing but did not use. Picnic tables are made of heavy resin which was nice, easy to clean. Fire wood was inexpensive and burned great. This place is about 25 minutes outside Bar Harbor and about 20 minutes to Acadia. Traffic can get backed up at times so plan accordingly. Local supermarkets close by. We would recommend this park and would come back again.
At least half the park is seasonals. Kids and dogs abound during the day but it’s pretty quiet at night. It’s hit or miss as far as how level the sites are or how much space is between sites. The sites are mostly dirt with small gravel which will end up inside your rig. The sites in our section were staggered which was nice as we were close together. In the middle of the campground are some insanely long, not necessarily level, sites. It looked comical when a camper van was parked in one of these. Each site has a plastic picnic table and fire pit. There is no cable but you can get a few OTA. Satellite is possible in most sites. The WIFI worked pretty good – until it didn’t. We ended up using our hot spots a lot. Luckily, Verizon had 4g 3 bars. They have a large laundry room, and it stays busy. There is also a small pool and playground area. The big beef that will keep us from coming back? Low voltage from the power pole. We are all electric so that quickly became a problem. Without running any heavy-duty appliances, the voltage on each leg ran around 115. Turn on an A/C and it would drop to 108-110. After our surge protection saved us from disaster after running all 3 A/Cs, we only ran 2 at a time but we were still jumpy! We notified the campground of the problem. They checked it out but they said it was within power company limits so they couldn’t do anything. Huh. We talked to several other campers near us that were having the same problem. They need to fix this! Be aware that if you stay a month or longer you have to be in the same site the entire time to get the discounted rate. Electric is a separate charge. The park is close to Ellsworth with plenty of shopping. It is 20-30 minutes to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Traffic is nuts. Check out Mardens – you can always find something! Also, Hannaford has great prices on fresh lobster and will steam them for free. And they do a great job!

Level and clean sites. Quiet at night. Strong and fast wifi good enough to stream our Roku. Easy to get into and out of our site and the park. Big rig friendly. Dogs welcome on a leash. Speed limit enforced. Propane fill available near office. Friendly attendants.
RV resort very well laid out with very long and spacious sites, check in at office. fast and easy, office staff provided excellent visitor info and great suggestions for lobster and dining as well as visiting Acadia National Park. Very quiet campground, very friendly guests. Big rig friendly.
We started a little rocky. The next morning there was a knock at our door. The owner stopped by and made everything right!!!! We were so happy they came through and were able to accommodate us. Thank you!!!! The grounds are beautiful!! The pull thru spots are long enough for 2 cars and a 45 Motorcoach. Each lot has a picnic table and fire ring. We did not use any of the facilities so I can not comment. Kids looked like they had fun.
We always love staying at this RV park. So quiet, friendly staff, trash pick up, really nice guests, firewood, propane on site and so close to everything. We traveled all over the area in day trips which gave us extra time to explore desert island and Bar Harbor! Will return again for a 5th time for a months stay.
Really nice campground about 25/30 minutes from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Long pull-thru sites, super friendly campers (long and short term) and away from the Bar Harbor hustle and bustle. The campground is peaceful, relaxing and very quiet. The people who run this campground take pride in its appearance. Our neighbors in the next site over left and within minutes the staff was hand-cleaning the site-picking up any little scraps on the ground, weed whacking the grass on the site and actually raking the stones to flatten the site out for the next guest!! We’ve never seen anything like it-amazing job! We would definitely recommend this campground!! We had a really nice stay here! As for the area of Bar Harbor/Acadia itself, please be forewarned that the traffic is unbelievable in this area. We could not believe the number of people on the main roadway!! And…we are still in shock that the restaurants, stores, gas stations, etc…close by 9pm (many close even earlier)! We took a nature cruise that finished at 8:30pm and could not find any place open to eat or get gas. Even the fast food places (Wendy’s, kfc, dunkin, dq) are closed by 9pm. It amazes us that in a vacation spot that gets over 3 million guests each summer, we couldn’t get food after 9pm. So, just pre-plan to have everything you need before 9:00. Would recommend the “Great Maine Lumberjack show” and a sunset cruise with “Acadia nature cruises” while in the area.
