Two weeks ago, we ordered whole lobsters, mussels, and dozens of oysters to go! The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious, all at a great price. The owner and staff were friendly and efficient, and we returned the next day! In total, we ended up buying five lobsters for just two people over two days. We wish we could stay longer on this trip, and you will definitely see us again!
When we were leaving Bar Harbor we decided to stop and get some fresh lobster meat to take home. We bought a container of fresh lobster here and decided to freeze it and enjoy it later. I anticipated cut up pieces of lobster and hopefully nothing else as filler. When we did eat it, it was spectacular. This place was hopping! We had the lobster roll with a side of potato salad and the crab cakes. The crab cakes were fantastic! The atmosphere is casual. Indoor and outdoor seating available. It was fun to watch people buy and enjoy whole lobsters. Neat location!
