Been coming here for years. Many recent updates but still high quality food and products. I love their anadama bread. I had a BBQ chicken sandwich and it was delicious. I'll be going back very soon!!

Warning: dog bites! My elderly mother and I went for the first time today and were looking at the yarn upstairs. We met the woman who I believe is the owner and she introduced us to two of her small dogs. We asked if we could pet one, she said yes. My mother reached to pet the dog and the dog immediately bit her. The dog owner didn’t even react, apologize, or ask if she was okay. We went to the register and asked the employee for a first aid kit. We told her which dog bit my mother and she didn’t seem surprised - said the employees have told the woman that dog was going to hurt someone. Now we’re at the ER.

Splendid, over the top country store with food that is out of this galaxy‼️

Cute dogs on property, really nice staff, but service is ridiculously slow. We got here at 11:30am, waited in line for 15 minutes, then waited another 45 minutes to an hour for food to be out. Would not recommend for food, would recommend for drinks and cute animals.

Edit: Food took an hour and 15 minutes to come out and was only ok :/

Cute farm with lots of yummy bread, breakfast sandwiches, tea/coffee. Maine made items. Love the upstairs for a great selection of woven wool/yarn, tapestry, knitted/crocheted items. Drove special from VT to visit along our route. Have veggies for sale too. A great find.

An incredible multi generation family farm, with a store and a kitchen, plenty of seating, some irresistible farm dogs, and more. There is soap, hand-dipped taper candles, organic and local wines, breads, meat, cheese, produce, fiber, and just the BEST aesthetic. Truly a gem.

Cute location and love that ingredients are fresh, locally sourced etc. The small open kitchen is charming (and clean!) and I appreciate the use of cast iron. Very rustic and quaint.

However, the ordering process is a bit bizarre and I felt like I was in the Soup Nazi episode of Seinfield when heavens forbid I accidentally asked for my beverage first. The girl at the counter barked at me “Food first, then drinks!” Granted, there is a sign with instructions on how to order, so shame on me, but she was rude and cold in her communication. You are then given a ticket for your food, which you don’t pay for until it’s done (with hopes that you will shop around) to which I did. I didn’t see any hand carts for said shopping so awkwardly walked around with items in my hands. If there are hand carts they were not in plain sight. When the food was ready my number was called and it was placed a mere 2’ from the cash register. Why? Why not bring it to the register? So I pick up my food & other things & pay … and have no tray or hand cart or the option to purchase a paper bag to carry everything. (If they do it wasn’t offered) The entire process was very odd and very inconvenient as a customer.

The egg quesadilla was actually really good with a lovely balance of flavors, the home fries on the other hand were bland, unseasoned and rubbery. (I assume from being precooked) The price point on the quesadilla was fair given the ingredients, but the $4 for a scoop of overcooked & under seasoned potatoes is absurd.

The trash… awesome that they use compostable materials, but why also have single use packets like ketchup etc. and rely on the customer to sort? Wouldn’t it be easier to use glass bottles and refill? Seems counterintuitive to have compostable take out containers and 100s of tiny condiment packets. I’m sure it’s easier, but also silly. As silly as relying on the customer to put their compost in the correct overflowing fly ridden bins outside.

I had higher hopes when visiting. Based on reviews and their James Beard award I thought it would be a good place to take friends from out of town. Sadly, it was not the best experience, not horrible but definitely didn’t live up to the hype. The fruit flies surrounding the baked goods, rude and uptight service, weird ordering and trash policy and pretentious vibe outshined the fresh farm to table experience.

Unfortunately it was a one and done experience for me, which is sad because I enjoy supporting local, but overall it was not worth the cost.

*Edited to add:
My in store purchase included a loaf of oatmeal bread and a donut. The donut was standard, pretty tasty but nothing mind blowing. The bread, purchased Sunday and sliced into today is dry, crumbly and dense. Very much not worth the $7. I also just noticed the bread does not have a “made on” date noted, although there is a space for it on the label. No clue how many days old it is but definitely not fresh.

All things considered: Cost, friendliness, flavor, and quality I can really only give 2 stars for my specific experience : a flavorful egg dish and a humble donut cooked in a clean kitchen with a staff that made us feel like an inconvenience for even being there. A huge $30 mistake in hindsight.

Not a fan. Place was more of a hassle than it was to get a good bite to eat. Food wasn’t worth it.

Oh my god, this place is so good. The Tilly's breakfast sandwich was amazing, one of the best breakfast sandwiches ever! I substituted bread instead of the everything bagel and it was perfect. Nice perk to be able to pet the dogs and cat, they were all friendly.

Disappointed to find out they now have aggressive dogs around the store. I used to always (with their permission) walk around their store, check out the nice tea house in the back and their herb patch along with stinging nettle patch. Now as soon as I got on the yard next to the store ,right in front of the new construction, 5 dogs ranging from pocket dog to a large golden retriever came barking like crazy and aggressive. They were no signs that customers are not allowed anymore to walk around the farm.

My favorite place for breakfast in all of Maine. Plus their farm store is amazing!
