I was on my road trip in Maine and stopped by couple small towns to explore. I saw this cute food truck and decided to check it out. The chef prepped it fresh in front of me. Best clam chowder that I’d ever had. Great quality and quantity. The chef’s really nice.
As a French person this Crêperie is the best one I’ve eaten at outside of France, maybe even better than most Crêpes I’ve eaten in France. And his Clam Chowder is to die for, if I could give this place 6 stars… I would. ABSOLUTELY worth a detour!!!
Merci Beaucoup Monsieur!
Best clam chowder!! Ever!! Delicious crepes. We love Chef Jacque❤️
If you haven't met him you are in for a trest
Chef Jacque was so friendly and hospitable. We tried the breakfast crepe with sausage and a basic crepe and they were fresh and delicious. Excellent service and hospitality. If you ever visit Wells, Maine be sure to stop and check his crepe wagon out. Our crew is from VA.
Crepes. Monte Christo was very good. Worth the wait for this one man show.
I was there today and had the best clam chowder in the town of wells. Been going there for 3 years. Totally awesome. Wishing you well in your change in Dec. Congratulations 🎊 👏

Went with my father in law and I had the clam chowder and a Nutella crepe with strawberries and bananas. My FIL had the apple crepe with salted caramel.
Chowder was amazing. So full of clams. Most chowders have some clams and then lots of potatoes but this was the opposite. Very hearty chowder and well worth the $$.
The crepes were amazing. My crepe had a ton of fresh strawberries and banana slices. The Apple crepe had a ton of apples. Looking forward to coming back before he closes for the season (we were told November 2nd will be the last day)
If you haven’t tried this place, do yourself a favor and make it a point to go here if you are in Wells.
Had a great smoked salmon crepe
If you are going to stop anywhere in Wells, make it here! The food was unreal, easily the best I had on our entire trip. The gentleman running the show really puts his heart into everything. Seriously, if you're near the area, make a stop here!

Drove by this food trailer on our adventures in Maine last week. Talked about for a few miles, then decided we needed to turn around and give it a try, knowing that sometimes these small roadside stands are fantastic. We pulled in about 2:45pm, just before the 3pm closing. Chef Jacques side he was out of crepes, but still had chowder, so we each ordered a bowl of clam chowder. In just a few minutes, he ladled up 2 good size servings, maybe a cup and a half?
We sat in the shade at one of the picnic tables, and WOW! These bowls were delicious, and loaded with clams! After a few spoonfuls each, we looked at each other and nearly simultaneously said: “best clam chowder I’ve ever had”!
Partway thru our bowls, Chef Jacques walked over to see how we liked it - we both told him it was the best clam chowder we’ve ever had. He smiled, and thanked us for stopping by, and seemed genuinely glad we liked his chowder. We listened to a few stories, shared a few laughs, and took this picture as a memory.
Had the delicious Nutella and Strawberry crepe and clam chowder, which was excellent because it's loaded with actual clams, not a bunch of potatoes
Worth stopping by for the fantastic crêpes. Jacques is a lovely chef/owner.
Chef Jacque is a crepe-d crusader. His selections are great, prices wonderful and he is one of the nicest people you'll meet. This is a must try, you'll be back.
