Batson River Fish Camp Reviews
Service was great. Quinoa salad, tacos, and the pretzel were the highlights of our meal.
Vacationing in Wells with our grandkids. Went out for an early dinner. Sat on the patio. Kids had burgers (and they are fussy eaters). They ate the burgers and fries with no talking which means it had to be good. I had the tacos with fish which were amazing. My husband had the fish and chips. Huge portion but overcooked. Beer was good. Service was great. Will go again for burgers and beer.
Really good burgers. Other food was OK. Had to ask the waitress 3 times for a glass water. Food service was fast. The atmosphere was fun, but there's little to no sound proofing so it's very loud. But overall, it was a decent experience. We would definitely go back.

Batson River Fish Camp is a charming spot that offers a unique dining experience. The brewery produces a range of beers, including a porter and stout, which are served in a clean and tastefully furnished environment. The chef is a master of flavor, crafting meals that are a love affair for the palate. The menu features a variety of dishes, including salads, fried shrimp, and Mexican-inspired haddock tacos, which are noted for their large heaping of well-seasoned filleted fish. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful, especially during the holidays when festive decorations create a cozy lodge-like setting with a fireplace, perfect for relaxing on a dreary day. Guests often enjoy well-seasoned, perfectly prepared food, and a good beer selection that contributes to a happy experience. The friendly environment encourages visitors to stay longer, split an entree, and enjoy cold drinks. The bartender is often highlighted as a pleasant and sociable presence, enhancing the overall vibe. While service can sometimes feel a bit off, the mussels and parmesan truffle fries have received praise as some of the best appetizers. The overall atmosphere and quality of food make Batson River Fish Camp a standout spot in town, making it a must-visit destination for any food lover.
