Superb Food and Service!
Waited 50 minutes for 2 over medium eggs, that were over easy. Eggs just do not take that long. The hf were not cooked.
Sad to say I wouldn't recommend.
Wonderful gifts!!
Nice visit!
Stopped on the way up to Portland to grab something to go. The morning glory and blueberry muffins were so good. The blueberry may be the best blueberry muffin I’ve ever had. Stopping on the way back home to grab a bunch to go!
Horrible! The woman taking orders couldn’t have been slower or she would’ve dead. Unorganized! Not worth the wait.
Love this gem, found a few treasures here! Highly recommend!
Wish I had more time to shop at this adorable shop...so many gift items, including very cute Christmas ornaments, seasonal decor, and crafted bird houses. Will definitely carve out more time for a longer visit the next time I am in the area.
Nice stuff. Not bad prices.
You feel right at home at the Saltwater Cafe! Inside or an awesome outside patio. Live music!! Woot. They also support local businesses!!

Great bunch of people. You don’t feel like a customer they treat you like family.
Good variety of fresh bakery items and breakfast menu. I had avocado toast with micro greens and radishes. Yummy! My husband had an egg, ham and cheese on a freshly baked croissant.
Let me start by saying I know staff is in short supply. I get it. But people should not have to endure the rath of a disgruntled employee. I have lived in Wells for 20 years. And have gone here many times. I stopped for pick up today and realized it would be a 45 minute commitment. I am patient, looked at price of the food and said I would wait. While I was there I witnessed the clerk ignore customers while counting her tip jar, berate customers when they asked how, much longer their food would be and out a yell at someone in the dinning room when their order was wrong. This is not right no matter how frustrated you are. Remove the woman in the red shirt from the situation you don’t belong on the front line. We get staffing is a problem but to put up with this type of behavior is detrimental to your business just explain one cook and we are doing best we can. Or tell people how long it’s going to be before they place their order. You got it all wrong. And I for one stood quietly by because I didn’t want my head bit off. But no more you lost me.
