BARNHOUSE GRILL & PUB WISCASSET

Waitress seemed irritated that wanted no corn on the rice and beans. There was still corn in the rice and beans. Went in due to the sign outside that said we have 10 meals during happy hour. Was told to order off the kids menu. And it was actually 10.95 didn't end up ordering off the kids menu. Ordered a quesadilla it oddly had black beans in it. Asked for hot sauce didnt get hot sauce. Waitress seemed like she didn't want to get anything the quesadilla said it came with lettuce and tomatoes and sour cream and salsa. There was close to no lettuce or tomato and the waitress seemed irritated if we asked for anything felt uncomfortable. Probably won't go back because 1 they advertise a deal that isn't there. 2 a 20 dollar quesadilla and no lettuce and tomatoes or enough sour cream. And 3rd the chicken was dry. For that price I would of thought rice and beans came with it. It didn't so I ordered some with no corn corn was still in my rice and beans. Still gave. A tip didn't complain but was disappointed all in all.

We stopped on the way back from a hike for a late lunch. Super friendly staff, quick service, great tasting food, and the prices were very reasonable. Cute and clean restrooms, too!

Been multiple times, food has always been great. We went for my father in laws birthday dinner. We asked ahead of time to see if we could sit together as we were a big party. We were told yes. We got to the restaurant and we were split across the dining room. We asked our server if there was anyway we could push a couple tables together and was told no. We then asked the floor manager and she about bit our head off. If you can’t accommodate, then don’t say you can. Will never be coming back.

2 hour wait for food, poor service, no apology. They are in over their heads.

Wrote that 2 years ago when they opened. Tried them again, ordered over the phone. Arrived in 30 minutes like we were told and they never put our order in. What an amazing place, so lucky to wait over an hour for absolutely disgusting food a second time!

Meh... My pulled pork loaded baked potato was pretty tasteless. It was a huge plate, I'll give them that but... Underwhelming: no bbq taste on the pork, the cheddar was ultra-mild-store-bought. My friend liked his burrito, again huge. The other friend said her chicken fingers were juicy w/ good coating.
