We were headed to Red’s the line was very long so we stopped here at Jolie Rogers oyster bar. The best oysters fresh very delicious. The service was great and the clam chowder was amazing.
I had the wonderful experience of trying The Jolie Rogers Raw Bar at the Maine Lobster Fest this weekend. The raw oysters, along with the broiled oysters were huge and delicious. They were meaty with a wonderful brine. The house made cocktail sauce was like no other I’ve ever tasted. The little neck clams and clams were also incredible. I read an on-line 5 review of this place and had to try it. Their reputation of having the highest quality oysters, perfectly shucked is on point ! Highly recommend the Norumbega & Merry Island Oysters with their fabulous migonette sauce. Everything about this experience was exceptional. Best Oysters on the Midcoast - must try !
