Went here once and they had really amazing ricotta pies. Went the next week to get more and even though they were written on the board, they didn’t have any, didn’t make any, and weren’t going to make any that week. I asked when they would, they said next Friday, today. I called today as I didn’t want to drive all the way if they didn’t have them. The phone rang and rang until an auto message came up. Drove and went in today, REALLY wanting those ricotta pies. Didn’t have any! Just very disappointed. Don’t tell people a day you’ll have something if you have no intention of doing that.

Such a disappointment! I placed a birthday cake order and when I came to pick it up, it was not made and the baker was not working or helpful at all in explaining why the cake was not made or giving any resolution. The staff could confirm my pick up date but still no cake available or any available even to just purchase in store without the personalization I had ordered. What a let down and now we just don’t have any cake for my partner’s birthday ugh

Stopped by in the early afternoon. Selection was pretty thin by then, but we got some lobster tails and some sfogliatelle. Both were delicious and the lobster tail was one of the best we have had. Parking is a bit tricky, and you should get there early for the best selection.

We went to Mammy’s on July 13, 2022, when the woman who worked at Treats and More Treats told us they made sandwiches to order. When we entered the man who seemed to be in charge told us they only had chicken salad or roast beef sandwiches available. He seemed angry and surly, and told the young woman there to make them. One was pre-made but both were good, so the next day when family had joined us two of our group went in to order. The customer ahead of them was told that only a vegetarian sandwich was available that day, so our party ordered 4 vegetarian sandwiches only to be told by the same man that there were NONE that could be purchased. The only items available to purchase were desserts, he said, even though there’s a huge “Open” flag flying and a sidewalk sign that says “Sandwiches.” That evening we went back to town for dinner, and still the “Sandwiches” sign was out in front. The man working there seems annoyed and behaves as if he does not want customers. Very disconcerting to feel as if you’re in the wrong for wanting to patronize the business for items it’s advertising.

Not sure what all the fuss is about, tried twice to get a fresh sandwich at lunch time and they didn't have most the sandwiches available, I also tried a cannoli that was a bit bland and the shell was soft,

We visited on a Friday afternoon, and the selection was great! Then I went back on the Monday after Christmas right after they opened in the morning, and they only had one bakery item freshly made. Those scones were wonderful, but I had been looking forward to other things. I will go back again but time my next visit more carefully.

I happened to be driving through Wiscasset on Wednesday and I was hungry so I stopped into Mammy's Bakery to give it a try. I ordered chicken vegetable soup, a turkey sandwich, and took home a pumpkin whoopie pie, a chocolate brownie with ganache, a lemon bar, and two cocoa bombs. My lunch was delicious and my family absolutely loved all of the treats I brought home for them. I highly recommend this bakery and will return again!
