Food was wonderful and the view was beautiful. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Like helping a local business. No long waits for ordering food or receiving your meal . Please support your small business people.

I think this place stands out in its own, even though folks compare it to the place across the street. Better view, great service. Can’t beat it!

Lobster was great and so reasonably priced. They have seating, and no lines, like across the street. We would go back again.

Very disappointed with their lobster roll. Cold lobster meat on a cold toasted roll, $34 for the roll, no chips or coleslaw. No option to get a hot roll with an adequate amount of melted butter.
We went here as an alternative to Reds Eats. Everyone was raving about how it was just as good. Not so! I think they are just phoning it in and taking us tourist for a ride as the season ends. Anyone who thinks this is a good lobster roll has never had a really good roll!

We enjoyed a great lobster roll with tons of meat! The fries were nice and crispy. The clam chowder was so well-flavored and delicious. I finished my meal with a delicious ice cream cone! We especially loved the seating on the water. I don’t understand why people wait in line across the street when they can enjoy this place instead.

We had no idea Maine doesn’t serve a warm lobster roll. It was average at best but not worth driving this way if you weren’t planning on it. I can’t imagine why anyone would state it’s the best. Our personal preference is a warm lobster roll with mayo and butter. The bun was sort of toasted with cold lobster and butter on the side. The fries were bland. Disappointing after looking forward to this for months.

I’ve been on a thousand mile road trip from NY to Canada and back. Looking for a lobster break. Been to Maine coast many times. I remember $6 Lobster Rolls in Portland! Although it was $50 for Lobsta-Roll, Chowder and ice tea…worth every penny. I swear at least two lobsters worth of perfect meat! Butter on the side. I had to eat half in order to utilize the roll part! The atmosphere? Sitting on picnic tables on the water… unforgettably perfect. Enjoy! Onto Portsmouth; Concord; Westport and LGA.

Sprague’s Lobster is the place to eat fresh lobsters & clams for a dinner special, fresh clam chowder of the day. They have fresh crab rolls and lobster rolls. They carry varieties style of hotdogs and fries for the kids . There’s plenty of seats where customers can sit and enjoy their meal and parking . Before you leave Sprague’s you can grab ice cream before you go to your next destination. You don’t have to wait long for your food, unlike Red Eats across the street where the wait is over 1hr & 1/2 ; the line goes around the corner, not even sure if there’s a dining area for customers.

Parking: Can park at the meter, public parking, street parking

Lobster lobster lobster.either a meal or just a roll you can count on Sprague's to feed the need. With charming staff and cool looking atmosphere I give Sprague's two thumbs up with a side of French toast and a coffee.

Parking: A little tight to park but there's room behind the pet to park if the spots are all taken.

Delicious lobster roll with an ocean view! Worth the wait for the meal, and the staff was hard at work! Bring cash, or use the ATM there.
