I love Sprague's so much, I made our photographer get a wedding photo of us getting a lobster roll before our ceremony 😜 I grew up in Wiscasset, and whenever I come back to visit my parents, it's one of the first stops we make. Nothing better than grabbing some seafood, a picnic table, and taking in the Sheepscot views. We love!!
Located right across from Red’s, Sprague’s Lobster is a great alternative — with the same classic Maine seafood but without the crazy long line. In fact, sometimes there’s no line at all, which makes it an easy choice. The only downside is that it’s cash only, so come prepared.

This was recommended by a local. Apparently the locals know this is AS GOOD AS REDS...but sans the long lines.\n\nWe arrived at Reds and saw about 60 people in line. So we decided to try Sprague's (not knowing at the time it was THAT good). I've had my share of lobster roles and these are without question the cleanest, freshest tasting lobster meats i've ever had.
