This spot has it dialed!! I felt so taken care of, especially as a single diner- Which is always awkward. The front of house manager, Macie, made me feel so at ease and was accommodating, hospitable and professional. The food and drink were seriously delicious. Thank you for a great restaurant experience.

My husband and I had dinner here on a Friday night during a week long trip up through New England. For the last 4 yrs, we've come to the area every summer for a couple days. We've dined in Freeport and all over Boothbay Harbor, and this is hands down the best restaurant we've been to. It felt much less touristy than any other place we've been to on the Maine coast. We had the raw bar oysters & little neck clams, the mussels in white wine, creole shrimp, brussel sprouts and snap pea salad. Everything was fresh, well prepared & appropriately seasoned. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was lively. The portions were more than adequate - raw bar and 4 appetizers was more than enough for 2 with no room for dessert. The cocktails were solid too. Overall, we had a good time and it was a fun end to our week before heading home.

Got here at 5pm to an empty restaurant. They said we can only seat you if you will be gone by 6:30…easy we were done with 40 min to spare. I got the lobster saffron risotto. It wasn’t bad but it tasted like lobster thrown on top of craft. For $45 I was obviously dissatisfied but we were on a forced time crunch so I ate it. I don’t think we will be back.

Tldr: Nice ocean view w/ classic and delicious dishes. Great for dates.
Came for dinner, they have a great view of the harbor with large windows. Overall, the dishes were delicious but a tad too salty. The crispy salmon was delicious; truly crispy skin and a good mix of potatoes and lobster. A great spot for a fancy dinner or date. A little pricey for the dish serving size though. Left hungry for more but didn't want to wait...

A wonderful experience with delicious food and great service. The view across the river is beautiful, especially at sunset. From oysters to pastas, salmon to mussels, everything was fantastic. We visited on a recommendation and would gladly recommend also 🦪🐟🍝🍺🍹🦞

So! Sat at the bar (3) and ordered. We were fine- I live locally so l've been here before. An older couple comes in 25 min after us, the staff LOVED them, something about bringing in shots to the staff. They order their food, mind you-we don't have our apps yet (one cold plate, one hot) 10 MIN LATER- those folks get their food ( no apps for us yet) 15 min later
- no food - bar tender goes back and brings cold plate - no hot app-15 min later hot app- NO DINNER 20 min later dinner, we watched 2 sets of groups come and go.... They comped drinks and one app- I still paid 140 plus tip- won't be back- holy crap that was bad... they just lost winter repeat customers-made us feel like we didn't matter...

We were seated quickly when we arrived, and the restaurant seemed like it filled up quickly. We ordered drinks, which were good and served quickly.
We ordered salads to start. The sugar snap pea salad was large, but needed seasoning...it was pretty bland. We had one of the corn appetizers, and it was flavorful.
For entrees we ordered the salmon (asked for it medium rare and it had to be recooked), I had the mussels and the snap pea salad for my entree, we also had a two halibuts (were dry). The salmon was served on a potato/lobster hash that was delicious. The mussels were large and just ok. I guess I prefer the smaller, sweet ones. The halibut came on a lemon risotto, but the flavor was off.
We were disappointed in the service, the dry fish, overcooked salmon, and the food in general. The owner did adjust the price of the salmon dish though, which was good.
We probably won't go back or recommend this place. Maybe just go for a drink.
