Dining beneath the stars in the igloos at Clayhill Farm, surrounded by twinkling lights, was like being in our own personal snowglobe! the eggnog cheesecake was too spicy ! The spinach salad was small and the maple dressing tasted different . My fillet was a bit over cooked and dry and not many mashed potatoes or spinach .My friends prime rib was way undercooked . I think they mixed up our meat cooking temperatures ! The staff is great . Last years was much better and was a better value ordering ala cart ! I l know it was a tough nigh to cook . but it wasn't overly crowded !
Wonderful atmosphere. We were greeted with cheery hellos but the servers were overwhelmed. Our server was annoyed when we asked about the deserts and did not bother to ask if we wanted coffee. I heard her tell her sister that she was “losing it”. We overheard so much of her conversations with other staff that we felt bad her having to work on Christmas. Bottom line, to many customers for the number of servers available. We left feeling like unwelcome guests. Will not return.
