In all my travels it is tough to find a good Chinese restaurant. This place checked all the boxes for me. I had the Kani salad and it was delicious! I also had the general tso chicken and white rice, high quality ingredients. The sweet and sour sauce was fabulous. Thank you so much for providing a place that is authentic! I cannot wait to visit again!

I stopped and got the beef teriyaki appetizer and the house mai tai. The teriyaki was perfect, but the mai tai was just an average Chinese lounge mai tai -- good but not great.

We enjoyed an afternoon lunch at Green Leaves on a weekday in July. We live about 30 miles away and have heard about how tasty the food is for years - this was our first visit - but won't be the last. We ordered from the lunch menu - husband had the cashew chicken, I had the Kung Pao three delight. Both meals came with an egg roll and pork fried rice, and we ordered crab rangoon. It was all very, very, tasty, the portions were generous (we could have skipped the rangoon, but they were very good!) and attractively presented. The entrees were piping hot - the rice could have been hotter, but it didn't deter us! Service was swift and professional. Our favorite Chinese restaurant closed more than a dozen years ago, and we've tried a few others since and have been disappointed - sometimes very disappointed. I'm glad to say Green Leaves did not disappoint - it was terrific. So glad we tried it, we'll be back!

Food had no flavor and my chicken was dry and over cooked. You have to buy rice , any rice, separate with dinner meals. I have never had to pay for plain rice with an Asian or Indian meal Just a way to drive up prices.

Greenleaves Chinese Restaurant and Lounge, York Maine. I firmly believe that Greenleaves is the best Chinese restaurant in the area, consistently offering impressive food and service. The food is always hot, appetizing, and served with promptness. Tonight, I chose the Curried Chicken dinner, which surprised me pleasantly. The dish presented tender chicken, peppers, and onions in a skillfully balanced curry sauce with a touch of spiciness. This has now become my favorite dish at the restaurant. If you haven't visited Greenleaves yet, you're missing out on a truly delightful dining experience.

When tax season ends where do you Go to celebrate?!?! Yup, our favorite Chinese food restaurant, Green Leaves!! As always, food was simply fabulous and Andy and staff were gracious and accommodating as always!! The ribs were a bit small tonight but still absolutely delicious! I highly recommend green leaves and will continue sharing this golden GEM!!

Amazing food. Walked in and the place looked very cozy. The smell of freshly made meals was awesome. Our waiter was very friendly. Food got to us quick and was very hot. Would recommend. Sushi was awesome as well. If you've had a long day of traveling, this is the place to go!

My husband and I just moved here and we Arne trying to spend a lot on take out but today we wanted to they charge us an arm and a leg for the dinner and the drinks were not good. We paid for everything but we could not tip money is very tight the man working in the front watched me and my husband leave the front door and watched us get into our car and I see him giving us the death stare I tell my husband what I see and he is still giving us the death stare and give one back at him like sir you already over charged for all the food but now you want a tip on top of that. No thank you But I will say the waiter was nice and the sweet potatoes fries were my favorite thing and my husband liked the curry rice

Thought the old style 70's - 90's Chinese food had fallen by the wayside, well........ I must say (happily) I Was Wrong. For us and family & friends of ours who have eaten here and commented, it's safe to say that GL checks most, if not all, the right boxes for good Chinese food. Highly recommended.

The food was good. I'm used to shumai being larger portions, but this was my first time trying Green Leaves, and the restaurant has come highly recommended by many of my peers. The drinks were good. My Mai Thai was a little dark, I'm not complaining! My Singapore Mei Fun was on point with most restaurants I've ordered it from. All in all, I would go back again. Reasonably priced.

This was my favorite placed years ago. I moved to Texas for the last 13 and coming back I expected to be happy with our meal.
My nephews liked their soups. I didn't like mine the hot and sour was lacking flavor and most of what you would find for Ingredients in the soup.
The General Tsos was good but I think it was just orange chicken, there was no spice.
Moo shi pork. Ultimately this was the biggest disappointment,
My Mom likes king pow with the veggies choppped very small, they were pretty chunky. said it's probably because Mom said the resturant probably thought I was a tourist. I do not think that is the case. Perhaps I will try again, I will be in the area often for a while
