Having the cafe in the store is a nice convenience - the food is subject to personal taste. I had the BBQ chicken wrap, which for me was too spicy. Others in our party liked what they had- one thing for sure is to take the homemade
We decided to stop here on our way home from our Maine getaway and arrived ready to shop. As we were famished, we were so happy to see the adjacent cafe and we decided to eat before continuing our shopping. The cafe area is well laid out and inviting. I like that just about every menu item incorporates one or more of their products sold right in the store. They also have baked goods to purchase. Order at the register and they bring to your table. I visit Portland every 2 months to visit relatives and my trip wouldn't be complete without a stop at Stonewall Kitchen in York Me on my way home. There's always something new on display that i can't live without, from baking pans, jams, kitchen linens, etc. And to enjoy on the ride hone..a stop in the cafe for coffee and a sweet. I spend more time trying to decide between a scone or cookie..it might be easier if they didnt have so many choices!!!
