Lobster Cove 9-7-25
We had to stop by here for a Lobster Roll. This place is not fancy but its clean and the waitresses are friendly. They are on the ball with service and checking up on you. We ordered two Big Huge Lobster Rolls which came with Fries and Cole Slaw. Our food came out fast and the Lobster Roll was huge, very good and tasty. The Fries and Cole Slaw were also good. All our food was hot and plenty of it. When we were done, we were full. They do have an outside...read full review
We got married at Nubble Light house and then had dinner at The Lobster Cove with our close family and friends. We totaled 22 people and the staff there was amazing. Going above and beyond for our group. The food was amazing too. They made our special day that more special. Thank you to their staff!
I visited Lobster Cove for the first time yesterday. The staff(Skylar) were amazing and the food was just awesome. I will be making this a regular stop.

Lobster Cove is a great find with friendly staff, delicious food, and beautiful ocean views from the restaurant windows. The location, atmosphere, and food make it a favorite for many, including families who travel from Boston. The Lobster Roll and Clam Chowder are highly recommended, though some guests have noted that the lobster roll can be a bit disappointing if the lobster is chopped too small, as experienced by one visitor this year. The prices are reasonable, with the Lobster Roll priced at 33 American Dollar Bills, which some guests feel should offer better quality.
The upstairs seating area offers amazing views, and the menu features house specialties like the Broiled Seafood Casserole and Captain's Platter. Fried haddock is also a popular choice, especially for kids, although portion sizes can be limited. The restaurant is a popular spot among locals and visitors alike, and its friendly atmosphere makes it a must-visit destination. While the fries could use some improvement, dishes like the buffalo tenders and steamed mussels have received excellent reviews. Overall, Lobster Cove remains a super pretty location and a go-to seafood joint in York.
