All I can say is Ah…Maze…Ing!!! I thought cookies and desserts were all treated equal. Not after visiting Nancy’s! Great service and help figuring out what I wanted/ needed. And OMG get the chocolate chip cookies! You’ll thank me!

On Thanksgiving eve I stopped on Rte 1 and bought an apple pie at Nancy's Catering, from Nancy. She seemed very nice and had a nice variety of pies and desserts. The pie was 28.00, a little high but for freshly made from a local business I thought it was fair. After our wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, I tried a piece and I was terribly disappointed! The crust was not fully cooked nor was it flaky, it was heavy like Crisco tasting. The generous apple filling was a mix of cooked and uncooked firm apples and slurry. The soft almost gooey crust and firm apples made for a pretty lame pie, especially for 28.00. I think my sister made better pies in her Easy Bake Oven. If I didn't want a good holiday pie I would have bought a supermarket pie for half the price. We thought maybe we could save the pie by cooking it some more. That really didn't help any. The crust remained yucky and the filling chewy. Seems it was a mix of apple varieties, some best left to feed the deer. Glad I only wasted 28.00, I won't be wasting any more money there.

I highly recommend Nancy’s Catering not only for her excellent product but also for the concern she has for her customers. We had scheduled Nancy’s Catering to provide the menu for our outdoor function. Unfortunately, my husband had an accident needing surgery and we were unable to hold the event. Nancy was extremely understanding when we needed to cancel and graciously refunded our full deposit.

Great place for breakfast. All seating is outdoors, but they have a heat lamp. Service was great, sweet people working there. Loved the potato rosti dish that I tried.

Best lobster roll in Maine. I had the lobster with cheese and avocado. Served in sour dough, pickle and small cold pasta. Hugh portions. It was our last stop from Maine heading to Boston when we saw the cafe in US-1. The staff was great too. Dined al fresco.
