After spending 240 for 2 meals, 1 app and 4 drinks I am unimpressed. Beef Wellington bites were raw and it could not cut them with my steak knife. Drinks were good. Filet charred. Sides very good.

While the food is exceptional, you pay for it and portions are small. It feels excessive considering the atmosphere is an old house and they put tables right on top of each other. Total cost of our meal (two mocktales, 11 oz of beef, and two sides) with tip was 170$ I would evaluate the experience at about 100$. We won't be back because of that.

This is a "a la carte" place. The steak here is phenomenal and their sauces are good too. Decent selection of wine. Wines by the glass are mostly new world. Their sides, not so good, not worth the price. We shared a couple of the sides (which really you can eat by yourself), and we were disappointed. Other than that, it's exactly what I'd expect from a steakhouse, and that's good steak.

This place was very disappointing. Bartender was awesome. The decor is unbelievable. The appetizer was delicious. The drinks were very well-made but the main course was horrible. I couldn’t even eat it. I’m not sure if the salt shaker broke when the cook was making it but that’s all I could taste and my wife’s dinner was the same way.

Overall dinners and deserts were excellent, and service was great, but considering the high price was extremely disappointed with seating arrangement. Didnt feel relaxing. We are not in the big city, and space is not at a premium here in Maine. The couples tables were extremely close and didn't lend for an intimate experience with my partner. If you like close quarters dinning, shared conversation, then this is your place. Will not dine here again and will not recommend to friends...

My parents have a summer place up near Noble Lighthouse in York Beach, so I spend most of my weekends coming up here. Shame on me for not getting to this restaurant sooner. I live at Capital Grille back in Connecticut, but the steak here surpasses them hands-down. All of their meat is prime. The food was absolutely delicious! So last night was my first time, and I sat in the bar area as I was by myself. Gabe waited on me and on top of his game and very attentive. He made great drinks. Their bourbon/scotch selection is incredible! I started with the blueberry bourbon, bacon appetizer, which lived up to all the expectations. I had a New York strip with au poivre sauce and a side of asparagus.
The best part about the entire night, was I ended up sitting next to the owner’s parents that were in from Seattle. We had wonderful conversation and enjoyed great food. Then Holly, (one of the owners) came over and sat next to me and ate dinner. The most down-to-earth and lovely person. We had incredible conversation, And this is absolutely my go to place now. I’m going back again tonight.

I made a reservation for two at 6pm, we slept through our reservation, we hesitantly showed up 2 hours late and to our surprise was greatly welcomed, the hostess was the owner Holly. We did not know that, she was kind, accomadating, fun, knowledgeable and so welcoming! The bartender was fantastic! I cannot wait to try her top tequila picks! We ate at the bar, we enjoyed blue cheese encrusted filet, excellent French onion soup, and shrimp scampi which was outstanding! We cannot say enough about this well organized, well run restaurant with exceptional food and cocktails! Impressed beyond belief! An exceptional steak house in York Beach Maine!

This is a fantastic owner-operated restaurant -- Nick himself greeted and sat us. Service was friendly and knowledgeable and we got everything exactly right from our order. Ingredients were top notch and preparation entirely on point. The whole experience was a cut above.
The old fashioned cocktail mixed with a custom Maker's Mark bourbon -- that the owner was invited to go to Kentucky and use a personal recipe to produce -- was well worth the visit alone. It's spectacular.

The food was very good but overpriced. They had run out of the lower priced sirloin. We had fried calamari and bruschetta, which were quite tasty. My Caesar salad was good but the lemon was a bit strong. I had linguini and clams special. Don't know if the linguini was made fresh but it was very good. My wife had the chicken parmesan, which was good but had a strange hint of Mexican flavoring. Kids had the coulette sirloin with chimichurri which was phenomenal.
Our server was very pleasant but not terribly experienced. Overall experience was excellent and I can recommend it if you don't mind paying a bit of a premium.

Went there last night for my boyfriends birthday and was so impressed by everything! The staff and owner greeted us with a happy birthday and started things off with a delicious espresso martini. The food was phenomenal, perfectly cooked and with great flavor. The staff were all extremely accommodating and friendly. Haven’t been to a restaurant like this since before COVID, they care about your experience. We will be back! Thank you!
