The greens were fresh and vibrant, and the rice and peas were a hearty, comforting side dish. The presentation was as impressive as the taste—my dish was thoughtfully plated, reflecting the care and attention put into every detail. “Go order a pan of macaroni and cheese. A pan. You have an occasion coming up where you will need or want a pan of macaroni and cheese...like today...because it's today and you will want a pan of macaroni and cheese. My family had turkey chops and chicken wings, yams, green beans, greens and cornbread and everything was good but when I tell you that mac and cheese is some of the best I've EVER had, including my own, which slaps, I mean it. The lady taking orders was friendly, the dining room was clean, maybe too clean? Cleaning products were left out in full view and maybe that's not the ambience you want while dining in but that mac and cheese tho...I will sit next to a vat of bleach and Fabuloso if it meant having more. Go. Order it. Order other stuff too. I think you'll be pleased.

“Music was good and you can't beat the location. Drinks were pretty good, too. We were there on a game day, so it was packed but that's to be expected. My biggest gripe is the bathrooms. All of them seem to be falling apart. Later in the evening, there was an "attendant" who just sat in front of the only paper towel dispenser and scowled at everyone. She wouldn't let anyone use said paper towel without "tipping" first. A woman nearby tried to tip one dollar and she said it wasn't enough for a piece of paper towel. If you tipped $5, she gave you exactly one piece.“

“The food here was good. My waffle was sweet without the syrup. The chicken was seasoned and fried to perfection. The Mac and cheese was cheesy. Now the greens was the downfall, they tasted like glory greens and the were super salty. Other than that, I give this place an 8/10. I'm definitely going back for the waffle and chicken“

“I stopped in to ask about placing a catering order, but they didn’t have any forms available at the time. The young lady who helped me, Treasure, was so kind and professional. She actually seemed disappointed that she couldn’t help right away, and before I left she said, “I hope to see you back soon.” It felt so genuine, and I really appreciated that. I did come back later—and ended up ordering catering. Great customer service!“
