Service was outstanding and food selections, although limited, were perfect. The view is outstanding. I think the prices were terribly high. A single entree at $6o+, plus tax and tip is too much. No salad included. Nothing less expensive. It was a big turn of the decade Birthday for one of our guests and we spoke to the manager in advance. Rather than bringing a small dessert with a candle, it was a just “one free dessert off the menu” which is a nice gesture but not much of a celebration.

Loved the ambiance, the views and the food! Not cheap, but I didn't expect it to be so I was very pleased. Steak and side's were both excellent, cocktails were strong and our server Lindsay was delightfully professional. Will be returning during my next stay at the Grand Traverse.

Food and service was great for Christmas brunch. You can beat the views of the bay which adds to the ambiance.

We have been going to Aerie for years and Easter Brunch for the past 5 years and this was very disappointing the food was scarce (much more variety in years past) and NO prime rib! Will look at Apache or others before we spend that kind of money for substandard food.

We had the breakfast buffet. It was decent. Sausage and bacon were good. Pancakes were super dry. Potatoes were decent and the egg dish was not very good. Good options for fruit, oatmeal, and parfaits.

Beautiful view unfortunately with no shades it was difficult to see across the table, staring into the sun all dinner long. Food was great, service was good. Felt slightly rushed. Server didn't mention any specials or recommendations.

I would not recommend, but also, would not speak up against it. The service was slow, and they seemed to be out of three different spirits that we were hoping to enjoy. Then, they made us a cocktail with a substitute, very cheap knockoff brand of cordial that was hideous in flavor even though we were very specific in our brand that we desired. We were not at all happy with the fact that they did not inform us of the change. They simply made the swap out decision making for themselves, and yet still charged us the premium cost for a very bad drink. Three of them. We had also asked for an after-dinner drink that is made with ice cream, but they were out of that as well. I'm sorry, but when I go to an upper scale restaurant, I certainly do have higher expectations.

Loved the Restaurant Week menu & wine pairing! Excellent taste & just the right portion sizes so you could enjoy each course. Between my wife & I we had the squash soup, pear salad, white fish, ravioli, tart & carrot cake along with the wines. Everything was so good we would love to see these things on the menu again. Carol Ann was our outstanding server! Very friendly, courteous & providers us with excellent service. We will be back. Just love Aerie for the views!

The dining experience at this restaurant was truly exceptional from start to finish. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff members who were both friendly and knowledgeable. As for the food, each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's skill and creativity. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, setting the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. And let's not forget about the view – it was absolutely breathtaking, adding an extra layer of magic to the entire dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to indulge in delicious cuisine while enjoying a fantastic ambiance and stunning vistas.

Breakfast was terrible, I did not get the impression that the eggs were real. Dinner was nice. Service was good and the setting is awesome.

Service was great, ambiance was too. But nothing about the meal blended well. The Valentine's Day menu was a surprise because it wasn't posted anywhere, and they were out of several limited options. The shrimp appetizer was just shrimp salsa with nothing else, the olive bread tasted weird with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar provided, and the entree was just okay. The carrots were undercooked, the potato was just a peeled, cooked, and nothing else done to it potato. The filet was well done on one side, and close to rare on the other. I'm glad they were out of lobster tail because the shrimp was the best part. But the dessert was great, just my honest review.

Worked here for 3 years, sad to see how downhill it's gone. Food was cooked improperly, and with the steak only being about 6 oz, it felt wrong to be paying $72 for it. You could tell waitstaff just wanted to leave. Had food allergies so I couldn't eat anything on the specialty menu. I know they're allowed to give you the regular menu because we did that for years, I just think the waitstaff didn't want to accommodate. Instead I was told “well you can just have drinks and then leave” instead of making something I would be able to eat. The specialty menu was not advertised on the website so we had no idea the regular menu would not be available or we would have made reservations elsewhere. In hindsight the drinks were AMAZING. You can tell the bartender loves their job. Still tipped well because it could have been an off day, but probably won't be going back

Everything was beyond delicious and wonderful! Everyone was so kind and helpful, and the food was beautiful! The prices seemed a little high for the quantity of food given, but it tasted insanely delicious anyway.
