“The first time for the 6 of us. Beautiful lobby and the Rix restaurant is on the third floor which is part inside and part outside. Very comfortable and chic with views to the outside. Service was wonderful by Kelly and very upbeat. Everything we had was delicious. Calamari, beet salad, short ribs, scallops, cioppino special, walleye and lamb kofta. We all would definitely go again. Oh, and they have a new chef who is wonderful!“

“Details matter. I wanted to get a reservation for the 13th evening for an anniversary dinner. Checked the menu for appropriate food - I'm specifically meat and potatoes. Got it, going with the Ribeye and Au Gratin potatoes, side of spinach. All set - No reservation later than 1400, OK will go with that. It's a little early for dinner, but hey, if the food is as advertised, I can make adjustments. Show up at 1400, great welcome, nice booth, BUT the menu doesn't look anything like what we had discussed for three days. Come to find out they do a brunch until 1700. Almost no meat and fries are potatoes, I guess.
Minus all the above. Had an excellent fillet. It was probably the best I have had in 20 years, but I'm usually a ribeye guy. Truffle fries were very nice - I eat them plain, so they were fine. My wife liked the mustard, I heard it was. I had the wedge salad, which was a wedge salad - My wife consumed the pork bellies that came with it.
What to do about a review: The standard of what we got was excellent; the service was good; My disappointment was that nowhere in the documentation or reservation process did anyone say it was a brunch or an abbreviated menu. I came for the ribeye - Wont be back.“

“This place showed up on Uber Eats and we tried it. So glad we did! We got the seafood and shrimp fajitas and cheese dip. Was great! Hope to stop by in person soon.“
