Love the new owners, Steve and Lisa. Very friendly and caring. We walk in and feel like family. The decor is great and really gives the feeling of being in the northlands. Melissa is a great cook and also very friendly. We highly recommend visiting.

The Nortic is a five-star dive bar and such a great find. I went with my husband and my parents, and we were all impressed. The smoked chicken wings were unbelievable my dad even said, completely unprompted, “these are the best wings I’ve ever had.” He wasn’t exaggerating. They were perfectly smoked, full of flavor, and truly the star of the night. Honestly, there should be a line out the door just for those wings. We also enjoyed a couple of craft beers, and the designated driver was happy to see zero alcohol beer was available. The service was extremely personal and friendly, exactly the kind of warm atmosphere you hope for in a neighborhood spot. The bathrooms were clean, which isn’t always a given in a bar, and the prices were very reasonable. Great food, great people, and an all-around welcoming dive bar vibe.

I was searching the area for food and came across this bar. I remember what the bar used to be and it has done a complete 180. Very clean and visually appealing. They also have a pool table. I noticed all of the positive reviews, so my wife and I decided to give it a try last night (8/15/2025) and I have to say that the bar did not disappoint. I ordered the smoked wings with onion rings and my wife got the chicken sandwich with fries. The smoked wings were probably some of the best wings I've ever ate. They weren't too dry, had a nice crunchy skin, while the meat was very tender and flavorful, so much so, that they didn't even require sauce. I did try their homemade BBQ sauce and it paired well. The onion rings were good, nothing to write home about but I'd still order them again for sure. The chicken sandwich had nice crisp piece of breaded chicken on it which had a great flavor. The fries were also good, nothing spectacular but we would order them again. The food came out hot and the service was great! The woman that took our order was very friendly and made as feel at home. I think if they experimented with their sides (fries and onion rings) this place would be even better than it already is. This place is definitely a diamond in the rough, and we will be frequent customers.

We were greeted and served by the owner. He was very friendly and polite. The food, service,music and vibes were amazing. We ordered the smoked wings and burger. They were amazing. Will for sure be back. Must try if driving by.
