“Holy moly! Best. Chicken. Greek. Salad. Ever! We walked in and the place was packed on a Sunday at lunch, so we knew right away it was probably going to be good. But, we were blown away by the fantastic service and deliciously prepared meals. Homemade Greek dressing was amazing. My friend’s corned beef omelette was perfect, too. I had to try a bite. New ownership, but all the staff remained. Some of the waitresses have been there for over 10 years, so that goes to show they’re happy and taken care of, too. Cute uniform shirts that we recommended they should sell to the public 🙂“

“Nona’s is a small quiet restaurant located in Taylor Michigan. The food quality and portions are on the plus side. The staff are pleasant and attentive. This is a place where you can get breakfast at 8 PM and steak and potatoes at 6 AM! There’s a lot of choices, just be sure you don’t make yours too late!“

“This visit was a totally different vibe I ordered the sliders and they were way too done. The patties were too thin if you want to cook them like that then don't make them like paper thin make them thicker. I always forget to take pictures of my meals so I can share with you guys. But they still are the best restaurant around for breakfast in Downriver area so don't let this discourage you from going to check out Secret Recipes because they still are the Bomb .“

“I live in Lansing but was visiting the area with my disabled son. A friend recommended this place to meet at and the experience was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The building is wheelchair accessible. The food was served quickly and was delicious. When I’m in the area again, I definitely will be back.“

So one day I did. They are the best downriver . Nobody touches their s*** lol... went there today and found out they are closed on Monday and Tuesday . “I eat here fairly regularly. Especially breakfast. The best veggie omelet I've ever had. Coffee comes fast and often. They know my name (and I know theirs too). Good prices and they never rush me. Just wish they were open earlier and later.“

“I ordered the new menu item steak and onion dinner. It came with mashed potatoes w gravy and broccoli with a side of banana nut bread. My drink was a strawberry lemonade. I was seated right away and my food took only 15 minutes at most. The dinner and drink have lots of flavor. The banana nut bread was a little too moist. I will go back again.“

FYI During the Covid19 pandemic the owners sent food to the essential workers our local hospital. So caring and generous?.“

“Unfortunately, I just received the worst customer service at a restaurant. At Six Star In Woodhaven. We got two burgers from carry out, mine was like rubber and my fiancé had a hair in her burger. They made us drive all the way back to prove it. Then they decided she had eaten "too much" of it for a refund. Made us wait 20 minutes for that bs response and handed us a new batch of fries to make up for it. Best part was the owner was too much of a whimp to communicate that awful response to us directly. He made a waitress say it to us after waiting all that time.“

“This place is pretty good they got good food good people pretty fast too. Just a good restaurant to eat at. The waitresses are very nice and the cooks are amazing. Not really a bad thing to say about this place I've been going here for years. I like the food there is a mix between Greek and American. “

As a business owner myself I understand the customers who use cc are cutting into profits. Therefore I raised my prices accordingly.t When you upcharge me I take the upcharge out of the tip. Sorry that may offend people but I wasn't told there was an upcharge before I ordered my food. Waitress should be sure to tell the customer before taking the order.“

“This review is based mainly on my personal preferences. I got fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes, collards, dressing, gravy and cornbread. The chicken breast was delicious, but overcooked and dry. Potatoes and gravy were fine. The dressing had good flavor but I didn’t care for the consistency. The collards were good except they were too salty. The cornbread was very good. I will order again and try other offerings.“

“Understaffed, but who is not these days. Waitress did the best she could since she was only one on the floor. Pot roast is typically really good, meat was tough this time and carrots raw in the center. Omelette was runny and little filling. Typically not like this when we eat here . We will go back but was very disappointed this evening for the amount you are billed. Tipped the waitress well as she was stressed but still was smiling.“
